Drum Take Away - Menu

We live in drum Have used it in past and like other folk here have suffered the conciquences I would rather not eat then go there again

Ate here our first night and what a disappointment very expensive slow service and the food was terrible no redeeming qualities would not recommend eating here.

We used the Drum Takeaway twice and picked up and ordered on each occasion. The food was freshly cooked and tasty and the bonus for our daughter was the park next to it! Prices as you would expect but the fish supper can easily be split between two people as the portions are generous.

Fabulous little cafe right on the main square at the village green. Great snack menu. Teas coffees etc. The girls are friendly and service is great. They are participating in August 's Eat out to help out: govt scheme which means you eat for half price mon tues and wed. It doesn 't get any better

Ordered a single haddock fish and was more than pleasantly surprised at receiving a large battered haddock done to perfection. I was asked if I required chips which I declined as the fish was enough for me and it was delicious on eating it. No complaints from me. My daughter had a kebab which she was not enamoured with and left most of it.

I just couldn't finish my donner and chips. Chips might as well been mashed potatoes they were completely soggy. Donner meat was better but not good. Curry sauce is watery. I didn't even eat half before tossing it, such a waste of money. Pizza was ok, but nothing I'd return for. Next time I'll just grab something at the co-op.... really disappointing when all I wanted was a hot meal.

Same as plenty of other fast food outlets and worth a visit if all other eateries in Drumnadrochit are full or booked out. We were in that position and it was a welcomed emergency remedy. I had the fish which I also had last year and found it very nice which was on par with other fish that I ate during my trip. I have no complaints, I know what fast food outlets are like and I know the chances one takes on the quality or lack theroff of the food they serve, that’s why I go for the food that I’ve had before.

Staying in the village for a week and thought we would try the local take away. The greeting as we went in was awful, not even a smile or hello. My husband had a Shish Kebab and the rest of us had fish Chips. Fish was edible but greasy. My husband's was awful, couldn't get his fork through the meat and also had very little salad. He decided to drive back to the shop and complain. The guy said it is fresh meat and cooked to order. He didn't offer any apology. He really wasn't interested in customer feedback and was not sorry he had a disappointed customer. Will not be back to that take away again
