"Please can someone tell me how this pub can justify charging me 72 pounds for 2 bottles of House Prosecco? I bought a round of drinks for my friends and the bottles arrived already opened when i was told the amount at the bar when i came to pay. I was stunned. My wife told me to pay to avoid a scene and embarrassment with our party and i decided to complain later. I phoned the pub the following day and gave my email with phone number and was told that a member of Fuller,Smith and Turner Customer Services would get in touch. They never did. Disgraceful way to treat a customer and i feel thoroughly ripped off. On the Saturday i decided to ' 'average down my buy price ' ' and bought 2 similar quality bottles from Lidl for just £5.49 each!!!"

This is a great, homey, massive pub in Ealing that is like a big house, and a home away from home as a local pub for so many.

This is a great place for a Sunday lunch with friends. It isn’t the quickest service but if you’re relaxing with a group it doesn’t matter. Great garden for the kids.

Friendly and helpful staff , highly recommended visiting this pub. Food is lovely and a good menu , good service and loads of tables. The dinning rooms are very cosy and warm. Will definitely be back in the new year. 5 stars all the way

Cracking Sunday roast. Great service as well, we went with our baby and were looked after well. My wife was also impressed with the vegan sides, as we've been to other places that have just thrown a lump of cabbage on her plate. It's not cheap though, and if I had one complaint I'd ask for another Yorkshire pudding or slice of meat for the price.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
