"The litmus test of any restaurant is in my opinion do the locals eat here We were enjoying a day out from our holiday base in Cala n Bosch and had wandered down to the Mahon area to explore the Fortalesa De La Mola. Having...spent an interesting couple of hours walking around this massive fort, we decided to go to the port of Mahon to find a restaurant for a spot of lunch. Did we hit on a gem! The four of us all agreed that El Cachito looked like the sort of place we would enjoy and a brief chat with the owner made our minds up. Situated at the quieter end of the waterside, El Cachito can easily be bypassed, but once you had eaten there you would undoubtedly return. We all settled for lunch from the Tapas menu. I had a mixed fish plate, my wife had Chicken Croquettes, my mate had the fresh fish of the day and his wife had her usual Garlic Prawns! We also had the Patatas Bravas and Deep Fried Squid as dive in' plates! Absolutely superb is all I can say! The chef knows how to cook fish to perfection, something many restaurants fail dismally with! If we are ever back in Mahon, El Cachito will be on our list for must visit!"

A small resturant but fantistic food. We visited more than 5 times and went through the menu start to finnish. The Copa Rosado wine was fantastic and onlt 12% proof.

Buenos platos, cocina sencilla pero de calidad. La ensalada de manzana y el ceviche especialmente buenos. El servicio muy atento y ubicación estupenda en el puerto de Mahon.

a favorite every time we come back to menorca and we are here dined to lunch and dinner. delicious tapas, friendly and efficient service with stunning views over the promenade. also for children. our holiday would not be the same without a trip to el cachito!

Me encantó esta experiencia: encontré este restaurante y fue un gran hallazgo. Excelente pescado: rodaballo, chipirones, sardinas ahumadas y tostadas de anchoas. Estaré pensando en esta comida durante mucho tiempo. Gente agradable que se preocupa por sus clientes.

we found this jewel of an evening venu 2 nights before the end of our 4 night break in mahon port. a simple yet effective menu, delivered by friendly but not over-own employees. excellent price-performance ratio in a counter with expensive...bars we are back today.

Restaurante muy bien situado en el Puerto deportivo de Mahón, Menorca. Desde 1980. Regentado por dos hermanas muy amables y profesionales. Terraza pequeña pero muy coqueta, interior con encanto. De la comida tengo que decir que buen producto y mejor elaborada. Recomendable hacer reserva.

This restaurant is next door to the ever expanding Way restaurant. El Cachito is an authentic and delicious place to eat everyday! Which we almost did! Small place, please make reservation, as I found out you need to do for most restaurants in Menorca. Nacho,...the owner, also works as waiter. Attentive and professional. The food to get aubergine parm, meatballs, breaded chicken. And all the salads are wonderful!! Enjoy! Say hi to Nacho!
