El Camarote - Menu

Limited menu. Nothing for kids. Loads of fish and unusual dishes and again had to pay as is not included in the all inclusive package.

Lovely location, service was excellent and so was the food. can definitely recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed I assure you.

Our favorite place on the island for 2 years in a row. Location, food and service are on point. We did try almost every dish from the menu and never been disappointed. Opportunity to add online reservations.

Mussels as a starter was so nice, but unfortunately the lobster paella was obviously burnt, as my partner opened up his half of the lobster and it was black. My half was flavourless and flaky. Not desirable if you’re looking for fresh lobster. The paella just tasted like normal rice, everything was completely overcooked. Waiter didn’t offer us a refund, but offered us a different meal but we lost our appetite. He didn’t say any more and gave us a hefty bill nonetheless.

Lovely setting overlooking the small port area, elegant restaurant with good service. The food was delicious. I had the pork belly which just melted in my mouth. Wonderful. The also served a French rose from Provence which was very welcome considering the very red coloured Spanish rose sefrved at most restaurants and bars is quite revolting. We were very satisfied with our meal. Good value for money, great food, good presentation, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

El Camarote is an upmarket restaurant serving a la carte food. The restaurant sits beside the harbour and is tastefully decorated as you would expect. I had fried baby octopus for a starter followed by prawn, pumpkin and mushroom taglitelle. Both were good but not exceptional. My partner had prawn and avocado salad followed by ricotta and fig ravioli in a creamy tomato based sauce. She really enjoyed her meal and I can confirm the ravioli was delicious. The service was good albeit the waiters didn't engage with us very much. We ate early and there weren't many people in the restaurant so probably didn't get a real feel for the atmosphere, although there was live music in the form of a guitar...

This is a great restaurant overlooking the marina. Tables outside are a bit windy but there is a covered area next to it that shares the great vista. Service is professional and friendly. There is a good selection of starters, mains and desserts covering all the main food groups and a reasonable wine list. Prices reflect the location and quality of cooking. We had grilled gilt head sea bream perfect) and salmon teriyaki not quite enough sauce and rice was undercooked as mentioned by another reviewer but tasty nonetheless). We had a bottle of Albariño as recommended by the waitress and it was delicious €19). For a smart occasion I would highly recommend this. Also I would suggest a pre dinner...

My partber and i chose this restaurant hoping it would be the main highlight of places to eat in fuerteventura however we were left disappointed. The location and setting over the harbour are gorgeous but the food in our opinion wasn't up to scratch. The bread with a mini olive oil jar and salt was a nice touch and the staff friendly and attentive. I chose the fried baby squid with lemon aromatiser as a starter, the squid was fried in batter which I wasn't expecting, there was far too much and the lemon aromatiser was just wedges of lemon on the side.
