"After an almost buried afternoon looking for a place to eat in avila (almost everyone told me that avila is not the ideal place to escape to eat), I finally decided that this would be our destiny. I can tell you we're right. Before I go on, I'll tell you what was our greatest success, so you take an example if you decide to go. I mean the Iberian prey to the grill. of the richest meats I've ever tasted, really, excellent, if you go with friends than at least 1 of them asks. Then I'll tell you the rest of the dishes we order, but first I'll tell you about the restaurant's extra-murs enclave. from two of so tables (I would ask you to book) you have excellent views of the walls. to access the restaurant you have to go through a small bridge that crosses the adaja river, point in favor as it adds a little more charm to the site. from incoming we taste the pot chorizo (riquísimo but eye, do not pass that is strong), peppers, confitado de piquillo de lodosa and a very good salad (look at the photo of the menu, there are a few very delicious). of all of them would highlight the peppers, without doubt. Second, I was clear I'd order the shot, it's got a good reputation. In the end, I went back and I opted for the pigeon. Having tasted that of josé maria (segovia) was not a right decision, yes, to be not of segovia is much more than decent. the rest did come to terms with the decision: Iberian prey and ox pamphlet. the most delicious dessert, we ask for a mix of a few desserts, look at the photos, to add more. In short, an excellent choice if you decide to pay a tribute to avila. P.D.: All this more pink wine and water came out for about 60€ head."

Nice restaurant serving local food. Excellent service but limited English language skills. Main course (bacalao) could have been hotter. Many guests for lunch on a weekday is a good token. Well worth a visit View menu

We were travelling to Segovia and recommended by a friend to stop here for lunch. It is an old mill with ducks paddling in the stream. We were sadly on the top floor dining room which lacked charater. However the food and service could not be faulted.

It's a mythical place in avian. to eat chuleton, raffles, yolks and Iberian ham there is no better place. very original, very Spanish. It's not cheap, but it's worth it. of young people took us to dinner in the garden, as it is located by the river and filled with ducks.

We came because I read on a page that advised him. the place is coming out of the walls of avile but next to them with a spectacular view. wines of great quality and well served which unfortunately is sometimes not so common. and high quality food, modern, surprising and with unsurpassed meats. very highly advisable. Pretend and crave as a good restaurant, and I’m not blackmailing their food quality but service is slow and not the best I the area. As they are very busy The FOOD COMES COLD, and what is worst!.... the t-bone, the main specialty In Avila and in This place...., COMES COLD! I’m not the only person noticing this. Sorry guys, this is more focus to tourist or people with no idea! After all NOT CHEAP. Cannot recommend unfortunately.

I went to see the restaurant for some very nice pictures I saw on the net. from the opposite edge of the river we have a beautiful view among the trees. there is an old bridge or a hard to reach maintenance door that allows crossing the river joto in front of the restaurant. the views are fantastic and I was lucky to find a group of ducks and playful goose. from that angle the intense yellow color of the restaurant's façade contrasts with water generating precious glitters of otoñales.
