I could not be happier about this restaurant: fast and kind service, and the bill was not expensive at all!

We dropped in here for a quick lunch as we had very little time. They pulled up freshly made food, very tasty and the quantities were huge, so we shared one dish

the food is delicious !! Perfect greek food! With a great variety and everything very well done cooked. Is not the traditional gyros/kebab greek restaurant. the complete opposite! Its overpriced which is why we dont go there often but definitely recommend going there !

I'm gonna have a Greek food baby I moaned to my girlfriend, as we left Eleon. Twins then, for I am too she replied Little wonder either, for every dish was a delight. The bifteki with cheese was a highlight, as was the saganaki. The...tzaziki was a cut above what you might find at the local deli, beautifully complimented with Greek flatbread. What really made the whole experience a delight was the fantastic service. Our waiter was super sweet and friendly, and gave us some good tips on our choices. All in all, a wonderful evening.

Eleon has such wonderful food, and it is so close to what one would find here in Athens. To be clear, I am from Texas, USA, and my wife is Greek. I make my home in Athens now though. And Eleon was recommended for us if we wanted to have some home-like comfort food. And they were so right! Everything was just like we would have at home.The servers were wonderful and spoke German, Greek, and English! And were very knowledgeable about the menu.Everything was cooked to order, delicious, and tasted just like home! Highly recommend not only for great food, but great GREEK food!

I discovered the restaurant by chance, I had dinner with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, we shall be back. We loved the tapas portions, we ordered dishes and we could not finish them all, there was no space for a dessert....We shared all the dishes which gave us four different tastes. We enjoyed fried calamaris, the portion of moussaka was just right, my friend loved the tomato and greek yogurt fritters. I could have eaten here every night when I was in Essen. Sorry I found you right before I had to leave town as I was there for business.I could have tried it all- but what I tried was incredible including calamari and some vegetables (flowerettes) including a starter dish I forgot the name of but I loved it all.It was all Tapas. Well! Where do start? Visited this restaurant w/c while visiting family in Germany. The restaurant had some really good reviews and that might of been about the food and/or the service, but frankly the service we received tonight was shocking. Despite having English in...their menu, none of the waiters spoke English so after failing to communicate we took to google translate to try to improve our limited German but one of the waiters (short baldheaded guy) took exception to this and was almost hostile.
