"This attractive little tea shop is tucked away in prime Hertfordshire cycling country. It's hidden away down a road that runs north off the high street between the kimpton and hitchin roads. There's lots of space outside as well as in and there's a bike shop for emergency repairs and supplies. Cafe does a good range of cakes and lunches. I had a delicious apricot cake. Coffee wasn't strong enough for me which makes it four rather than five stars."

nice to have a break in the warm snow on Sunday. warm crumbs, a beautiful teekanne and some very humid apple and cinnamon cake helped a lot!

For anyone, but on a sunny day this café is ideal for any cyclist in the area. All day menu with scones, crumpets, tea and coffee, cold drinks. Pleasant staff, peaceful garden with plenty of seating.

Great little tea house with a good selection of cakes, coffee and tea. All set up for passing cyclists and horse riders in need of a pit stop and some refreshments mid activity. Would highly recommend.

a sweet little tee shop with a lot to offer. if you are entering b651 (hand painted sign with arrow) make sure that it is closer to paddock where circular running gear is. do not drive through the snow. the signage was not the clearest. it was great for cyclists and dog walkers.

What a great find in a lovely village! The staff are very polite, friendly and welcoming. I went with a friend for lunch and cakes both were delicious and came quickly. I'd recommend the gingerbread cake if it's there when you visit. Even more special was the super cute secret garden that we found tucked away. Can't wait to visit again soon!
