"I went to the "Engelscafe" in Munich for breakfast whilst staying at the Pullman Hotel across the street. It's not a big place but is nicely laid out and decorated to a good taste and high standards of cleanliness.I ordered the "Grosses Fruhstuck" (Big Breakfast) that was very nice, my only issue was the fact that it took nearly an hour to get my breakfast when the only cooked items on it were 1 fried egg and a pancake! Service was friendly enough, just snail pace slow. The cost of my breakfast was €9.90 (circa GB£9) which was an appropriate price for what I had. Recommend a visit but allow plenty of time to account for the slow service."

again at any time we had the American breakfast for 2 people for 11,90 €. Price-quality ratio top , only the street noise annoys something. View menu

Wish I could say this place was better, as we wanted to find a local cafe for breakfast and get away from the hotel. However, 3 breakfasts took nearly an hour to arrive sadly, and the quality wasnt great.Coffee also disappointing (same as much of Munich!).Saying that, staff were friendly and was good to be able to sit outside.

I visited engelscafe with a Bavarian friend for brunch after a night out. We were originally planning on going to another place but they were unfriendly and we left and that's how we ended up here. The service was very friendly, a nice guy in traditional Bavarian outfit served us and although tradition says that you can only eat the white veal sausage until noon they were so friendly to make it at 13h30 so I could try it. They tasted very good as well as the eggs and the cheese nudeln, complemented well with weissbier. View menu

Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend .

"Indian restaurants are becoming almost as ubiquitous in Munich as Italian restaurants lately, or so it would seem. So why did I give this one get 5 stars? In part because Yelp doesn't allow for half star ratings and I didn't feel right giving four after my wonderful dinner experience there and the excellent meals my guy has had there before me. Kamasutra is close to his work and we had dinner here after him and work friends raved about this place for lunch. They've only been open for about three months but it's a regular lunch stop for them now. One thing I noticed early on, they do not take shortcuts. Great care is put into food and service. The menu is varied, good selection of wine and cocktails too. Service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. The interior is more modern and sleek than most Indian resto's. But what about the FOOD? We were in curry heaven. I had a jumbo shrimp curry and he had a chicken vindaloo. Sauces for both were rich, had complex, nuanced flavors and were not greasy or oily. And when they say spicy, they mean spicy, so for those of you lamenting the lack of proper spice level, make your way here NOW. If you don't want your curry toned down for the German palate, do have some here. Lovely garlic naan, very generous serving of good basmati. Delicious mango cream for dessert and real chai that wasn't syrupy sweet. Kamasutra is a real gem and a welcome addition to Munich."
