Ponte - Menu

Not really good. It was a nice evening in summer, when i visited this location. But service, food, ambiente is are not well done. No recommendation

We visited during asparagus season and there pork schnitzel with potatoes and asparagus did not disappoint. We had a large group and service was excellent

Pleasant enough, and in an attractive location. Had coffee and croissant for breakfast, and they offer a variety of scrambled egg dishes for lunch. The problem is that the service is UNBELIEVABLY SLOW View menu

The Bayreuther's seem to think this is the epitome of coffee drinking. It's swanky, for Bayreuth, has black leather seating, nice tables outside by the stream, good quality coffee, good service. Yes, a moment of Italy. A bit pricey, but people meet to impress their...friends with prosecco, business and pleasure

Often been to Engin's on my trips to Bayreuth and was always very satisfied with both service and food quality. However this time our favourite Club Sandwich did not meet his usual standard. The Turkey Stripes turned out to be two rather hard thin overcooked...slices of turkey breast. The bread was supermarket toast slices and my idea of a club sandwich is a multiple stack not just two slices of lightly toasted bread with a filling. On the other hand the french fries were excellent. The salad was OK but nothing to write home about. Sorry Engin, but you need to get back to your old standard

after kovid I was in Germany for the first time and visited my friends in bayreuth. after a long time I wanted to eat a coffee and something on the canale grande again. I was there years ago and very disappointed. it would not be better, maybe even worse. a hyperactive waiter, who I think is even the owner, draws attention with loud slogans. we had pasta, feta and pizza. I guess there were frozen foods and microwaves. what is unhappy then was the bill. unobtrusively expensive. what is noticeable is that they do not have to receive or ask for more than one time. because I was afraid something was wrong with the bill amount. so I can only recommend avoiding the ponte. opposite is an excellent...

My husband I tried out Café Ponte this morning for breakfast. The staff are friendly did speak English for us when they realised we couldn't speak German. It was slightly confusing when we entered the café as we went to sit at a...twoseater table but were then directed my a staff member's flailing arms to sit somewhere else. There is a self service buffet area around the front of the bar but we were hoping to order from the menu. The menu itself was completely in German I had to ask a kind member of staff to translate any hot breakfast available.
