"I was so happy to learn Ernies has a nice non smoking dining area, separated by glass from the bar and smoking section in the garden. I poked my head in several area restaurants and left because they smell like a stinky bar. Ernies provided...a respite from the smoke and also delivered on a delicious meal and wine. Having just visited the dentist my mouth was sore and required soft food. I had Ernies Dumplings, a small version of gnocchi with a creamy spinach, parsley sause. Yummmm. There were more guests in the non smoking area than the smoking one which begs the question why other restaurants don't follow Ernies example by offering a non smoking dining option."

cozy little restaurant near the renaissance wein hotel. beautiful house-like interieur. very reasonable prices. I had a spicy with a huge müll in a sea of goulash. I washed it with a beautiful Austrian beer. viva erni!!!

We visited Erni's on our first night in Vienna as it was very close and handy to the Star Inn hotel and was recommended by the hotel. It was a very cute cosy wee place with outside seating and a lovely atmosphere. I had my...first schnitzel which was really nice, and the torn pancakes with raisins and plum sauce which were soon good! It was really nice to have some proper austrian dishes. It was very reasonably priced as well so would definitely recommend! Especially to people staying in the Star Inn Hotel as it is just so handy!
