I had a lovely time at the restaurant " fleurs de thym." At the sables d'olonne there are a lot of restaurants to chose from but we were not disappointed with our choice.The food was lovely just a bit disappointed with the dessert....the service was fast

Service very slow. Ordered seafood which was prepared outside which was sat waiting for 30 minutes with flies all over it. When we tried to complain 3 waiters came over forcing us to touch the plates indicating they were still cold and so therefore fine. Very rude staff!

The market on this cold windy day was disappointing but the lunch ticked most of the boxes. This was our second outing to the line of restaurants along the quaiside at Sables and we opted for the 3-course menu at €20,80 with three options fro each course which suited us both. Great location, nice décor, interesting menu and helpful staff, including the lady manager. Excellent quality food, good value. Unusual and reassuring to find somewhere in a tourist area which treats customers properly and offers genuinely good food and service. We will return on our next visit to the Sables and that's the best recommendation we can give.

In sables d'Olonne for the finish of the Vendee Globe race. Totally unfamiliar with the town, but recommended to Fleurs de Thym by very kind van driver. It was very cold weather and we arrived a few minutes before opening time and sat at table near window. Service was slow, we were not offered a better table in a warmer part of the restaurant. However the meal was excellent.

Great location, excellent restaurant which lives up to its excellent feel and vibe. The staff made every effort to accommodate us being English with limited French and also with children, which we didn't expect, a fun and accommodating approach made the night! Service was second to none and the menu good value for money!Will certainly recommend and visit again when back in the region! View menu

Looking for a restaurant one busy Saturday lunch time, we saw the menu and decided to go in rather than look around. how lucky we were as we got the last two places available. The food was excellent, well presented and copious with good service. Just a three course lunch that satisfied our tastes, needs and wallets.I would recommend booking on weekends as it gets very busy and people were turned away.

Lovely selection on the day menu, 4 adults for lunch. The cheapest set menu at 16.90 for 3 courses was fantastic. Choice of three options for each course. All beautifully presented and excellently made, BUT, massive long waits for our food. We saw others come, order, eat and leave in the time we waited between each course. Staff are very pleasant and the atmosphere is really nice. Very tastefully decorated without being too posh but not scruffy either, a very nice restaurant.

We had a family meal here during our holiday on a Wednesday evening. Having read the reviews beforehand I was expecting it to be good, but even then it had surpassed my expectations.The service was prompt and we were seated very quickly having reserved a table for the 19:30 seating (they seemed to have 19:30 and 21:30 seatings in the evenings).You can choose from the a-la-carte dishes or choose to go for the 3-course set menu. Either one had a good selection of both meat and fish, however being in the harbour the fish is obviously their speciality. Our food was beautifully presented and the portions were generous.
