"While the service and the food was exceptional on our annual trip to the Diamond Jubilee Tea Room, it was obvious that it’s in desperate need of a facelift. The fabric on the backs of all the chairs is torn and dirty. The wallpaper is dated a peeling. It’s not shabby chic, just shabby. And the price has climbed and climbed over the years to an unsustainable price for me."

Lot's of sugar especially if you do finger sandwiches but HIGH TEA option allows a small lunch portion of a brunch type item such as lobstah mac and cheese or a custard crb. Scone are perfect and the desserts keep coming, even more than on the try.

Definitely NOT worth the 80 pounds per person. The food was okay; it was sooo busy and noisy. It wasn't very nice at all. For that money, go to the Ritz (two blocks down) for a more classy experience. I was so disappointed because I booked this for my birthday, and frankly, it felt like the Walmart of tea service.
