"While the service and the food was exceptional on our annual trip to the Diamond Jubilee Tea Room, it was obvious that it’s in desperate need of a facelift. The fabric on the backs of all the chairs is torn and dirty. The wallpaper is dated a peeling. It’s not shabby chic, just shabby. And the price has climbed and climbed over the years to an unsustainable price for me."

Afternoon tea is clearly a British tradition, however a very pricey one!

It’s a lovely location but for me the finger food was just not to my taste

The Jubilee Tea Room is a must-visit. It combines old-world charm with popular modern dishes.

Disappointed with the confusion on arrival and not to have had the pianist play the whole time. View menu

I never fail to be impressed with the high tea at F&M. It's always a must-visit for me whenever I'm in London.

We really enjoyed our tea and lunch. I have only had one other tea and this was quite a bit better. We would definitely go back.

Food was good. However, far too expensive for the experience!! No second pot of tea. Next time I’m in London I’ll be looking for an alternative venue, sadly. View menu

Lot's of sugar especially if you do finger sandwiches but HIGH TEA option allows a small lunch portion of a brunch type item such as lobstah mac and cheese or a custard crb. Scone are perfect and the desserts keep coming, even more than on the try.

Definitely NOT worth the 80 pounds per person. The food was okay; it was sooo busy and noisy. It wasn't very nice at all. For that money, go to the Ritz (two blocks down) for a more classy experience. I was so disappointed because I booked this for my birthday, and frankly, it felt like the Walmart of tea service.
