beautiful place beautiful chips when they visit 5.00 o'clock, they get 20% of their total order. I agree that there was a faggot smell when we arrived, but overall it was beautiful.

the quality of the meal was of the highest standard, fish tasted as it was just caught. before the main meal is served with an salate. the ambiente is pleasant and funny good service. an extensive menu makes it an unforgettable visit.

We had a wonderful meal tonight at Fresh Fry. 14 of us went to celebrate my Dads birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed our respective dinners. The service was excellent. Pauline served us and she was great and so accommodating. We will all be going back...and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Following a visit to this restaurant I would say definitely don’t bother. The miserable waitress rushing us to order Rushing us to finish and order deserts and coffee well before stated closing time and actually moping the floor with disinfectant smelling water while we were...sitting eating and telling me I wouldn’t get coffee if I didn’t order within 5 mins as the machine was being turned off

The name of this restaurant “FRESH” definitely does NOT reflect some of the food served The fish was dry and tasteless The new potatoes were old and soggy The service was atrocious absolutely terrible the food was all but thrown at us…… waiting...staff who clearly would rather be somewhere else This is my first visit back after many years it will most certainly be my LAST EVER One redeeming comment the Turkish salad was passable

This used to be our regular fish and chip take away. Today was our last visit. It does rate as the worst ever. It’s also the first negative review I’ve ever written. Usually I simply never use a place again, but now feel I want...to forewarn people. The ‘cod’ was grey in colour and soggy and the chips although generously portioned, equally limp. The mushy peas remained untasted as I poured the green water down the plug hole of my kitchen sink.

I have bought some quaint fish and chips from fresh fry. it was nice and hot. the chips and fish were fresh and well baked with crispy dough. mushy heap piping hot. we had squid and a considerable part became so good. for money. the supplier was very polite and polite. these are southern fish and chips and very excellent. I'm from the north of englands and there's something different. so if fresh fresh fry right north-style fish made without skin, it would be even better. very tasty all the same and we had pudding too. thank you.

Went there Friday night with my family of six .Have not been there for a long time due to covid and boy what a difference. It used to packed, but not any more and the plaice fillet I had was not fresh it was...grey, the chips were tasteless and I understand they have got only one waitress but the service was so slow .I again understand the difficulties of running a restaurant in todays climate but for a good fish chip restaurant to only have sachets of tomato tartare sauce is ridiculous ,we must have used about 30 sachets which is awkward and messy. They serve home male coleslaw which I must say is good on a small plate, so why not serve sauces in disposable paper or plastic containers like...
