"My wife and I stumbled upon Gaetano 's while searching for another well known Italian restaurant. And we 're glad we found this gem first! We ordered fillet steaks and I can honestly say that I 've never eaten a more generous, perfectly cooked fillet steak in my entire life! What a joy!! Sadly, we were only on a temporary visit to Swindon and live over a hundred miles away, otherwise this restaurant would feature very high on my 'return to ' list. The owner (who also doubles as the chef) is clearly a very talented chef and the very least I could do for such a sumptious meal and wonderful evening is to leave a fitting recommendation. Very highly recommended indeed!"

This is THE best for authentic Italian food. When they have special offers £7.95 for pizza or pasta add a drink for £2 then you really have to go Great staff lovely setting attentive but not obtrusive service Book now while this offer is still available!!

Came here with my girlfriend after suggestion of our hotel, Place it's clean and we love the decor! we had a pasta and a pizza both very tasty and a superb homemade tiramisù at the end! Great friendly service and management, Also price was very good...Fantastic!

The starter of calamari was ok. The meal was really let down by the main. I had the chicken and mushroom pasta. The ‘chicken’ in the pasta was the cheap pre sliced chicken that comes in packets from supermarket. It was clearly just added to the sauce. Unfortunately, sauce was watery and lacked flavour.

This charming, authentic Italian restaurant in Old Town is a hidden gem. The traditional atmosphere provides a delightful dining experience with welcoming Italian servers. The ambiance made us feel like we were dining in Italy! The food was delicious, especially the generous and flavorful pasta dishes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner for 7 people tonight with new offer available Sun -Thurs, everyone got food ans drink for under £10 each!! The food was so delicious that we forgot to take photos!! Huge calzones, large other pizzas and big portion of pastas, on the top of that nice warm fudge cake… Quick and professional service, would recommend and we will be back soon. Gaetanos what can I say? Other than Superb. Carlo is a fantastic host , the food is fantastic. I would recommend the entire menu but you can’t go wrong if you stick with the specials. Tonight’s special starter, Stuffed pepper was a meal on its own. My wife and I discovered Gaetanos this year after being frequent fliers at another Italian in old Town . Wish we had found Gaetanos sooner. The food is fantastic and you will never go hungry!

This venue is beautiful. We booked for a party of approx 25 ladies for a baby shower. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing! Beautifully cooked selection of starters, mains of various pastas and freshly cooked italian pizza! The staff are very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this venue to anyone for both parties and a cosy meal with friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will certainly be visiting again.
