The community are doing a good trying to improve the facilities on the island. Making good progress, with a little more time of stable post covid trading they'll be in a good place.

an excellent place to relax for a coffee and a homemade roll and suction or eigg. friendly locals sometimes meet for a cup of tea and there are often unpromptu sessions of traditional music. the inhabitants of eigg are an interesting eclectic start and most can speak English understandably, although they can be difficult to understand later in the evening.
