"This buffet style restaurant is head and shoulders above any other I have tried.At 11.90 euros for lunch during the week, it is superb value.There is a choice of typical Chinese style starters such as spring rolls, battered prawns, chicken and calamari as well as sushi and salad. I have tried most of these and they are all top quality.The main courses are exceptional. There is a huge choice ranging from beef and onions to spicy pork along with noodles and rice. There is also a fresh food bar where you can make up your own mix of ingredients which then can be stir fried in a sauce of your choice. This is a personal favourite and I am always impressed by the freshness and taste of the food. Try the Thai sauce, it's delicious!Also, you can choose various meats and fresh fish to have grilled at the counter.The choice of desserts is excellent. There is a choice of fruits, ice cream and pastries to tempt you. There is often a special to try. Today it was Il Flottant.The service is always friendly and efficient and the restaurant itself has a pleasant ambiance."

Ate at this restaurant at lunch time, the food was excellent. There is something for everyone. It is constantly being 'topped up' it's piping hot and really tasty. Great value meal.

This buffet restaurant was excellent. Loved the selection provided and all was lovely and hot. Best part was the caramel pork ribs. By far the best ever in all the places I have tried. Friendly staff and spotless. Will be going back again for sure.

Visited this lovely restaurant whilst doing an overnight stop in Poitiers. The first thing we noticed was how Fresh the food was. There was a good selection too. Of course the best bit was the 'eat as much as you want' part although that didn't leave much space for dessert!

For us this is a great restaurant. The choice is fantastic and if you like spicy food the sichuan sauce on the stir-fry is hot! Overall fantastic value, great service on the drinks side. Will definitely be back with more friends. Lovely light, airy and clean. Probably best Chinese we have found in France. Recommended.

We visited Gambas Royale for lunch in July 2017 with friends who live near Poitiers. I have to admit it was better than I was expecting. The restaurant was very clean: the food fresh and the staff very attentive. Most of all, it was very cheap for the quality and quantity. While this Chinese concept isn't new: Gambas Royale does it very well.

Second visit, this time with family. Their last lunch in France before catching flight back to U.K Three children were astounded with the choice and the fact that they could return for more. The adults were also amazed by the quality and choice. They found the offer of picking food and taking it to be cooked to their liking amazing and all this for an incredible price. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant and obviously popular by the amount of people attending.
