I've been going for almost 40 years. excellent cuisine in a wonderful place. you can walk through a simple walk in the woods or directly with the car. super recommended!

we arrived at this delicious malga after a walk of about an hour in a beautiful forest. The location is very beautiful, we are surrounded by beautiful meadows, from cows, hens, practically we all feel a little Heidi. The food is very good and typical. Prices are absolutely in the norm. We did a short hike through a wooded path to reach this restaurant and it was well worth the trip. The speck and cheese platter was a great start, and our group ordered different pasta plates and all of us were happy with our meals. They also have a nice playground area for kids to play. Everyone was happy. We did not order dessert but a lot of people around us ordered sundaes and they looked amazing!!

Did not seem a particularly good restaurant from the outside and the menu but... never judge a book by its cover! The setting is typical and traditional, in the middle of the forest, isolated and secluded yet only 5 minutes from Brunico. Home made ravioli were excellent. Exquisite! Our child's cotoletta too was superb, even thought (or in spite of) it's a very simple Italian dish. The grilled meat was of very tender origin and well cooked and, finally the smoked sausage and cheese were very specific of this area and we loved this local flavour and taste. Service was swift and courteous. All in all, 5 stars restaurant.
