"The first impression: Proppevoll der Laden, due to the wooden trim of the restaurant somewhat dark and sad, the rather narrow tables create a kind of cozy atmosphere. Good, friendly atmosphere is in the air. And what you can hardly find in restaurants today: a real vault. A mixture of restaurant and pub, as I loved it with my long-term celebrity, which unfortunately no longer exists today. Spontaneous well-being. It is not important for the hopefully following palate. The operation was immediately with the card despite the really full location, even the organization seems to work. Beverages on the table, the appetizer salad barely 2 minutes after dinner, the main dish on the time when the last salad leaf was swallowed. What we would also be at the only point of criticism, besides the somewhat unideal food decoration. The appetizer salad is fresh and crisp. But with a completely taste-neutral fertic melody from the big bucket, it does not match the overall impression. As a main dish I had lamb fillet in pepper sauce. Delicious. The sauce deserved its name, piquant sharpness with viiiiel green pepper. Right. Not the peppercorns from the salt glass used by most restaurants, hard and bitter, were processed, but the tenderly sprinkled freeze-dried tongue. The gourmet would certainly have cheated that the meat had been soaked with sauce. I think that's good, I love sauces. In better restaurants you like to call it 'Gericht a n Soße' instead ́mit ́. After my experience, ́an ́ always means small portions at high prices. Therefore I avoid as much as possible ́an-locale ́. But back to Pilio. Also the dish of my accompaniment, chicken breast from the grill, was delicious, as well as both portions huge, really for the good appetite. The additional supplements we ordered were almost too much. Conclusion: The restaurant, food and service were worth visiting, a repetition is safe."

We stopped there on our way to the coast to grab a quick lunch.Pilio seemed a good choice in the center of Niendorf near the open market.We had some typical Greek food that was fresh and tasty.Staff is really friendly and made some efforts to share some French words with us.Good value for money.

Nice place for some typical Greek food adapted to German taste.The food is exactly what you expect from a place like this. Good value for the money always an ouzo from the house. Dry bread without any oil or garlic butter, and a salat before the meal are also included.The Ambiente is pretty outdated and could use an modern and fresh upgrade but never the less it is a nice place to have a diner with friends. The restaurant is having many regular guests also coming for some drinks after work, so sometimes you have the feeling you landed in a neighbourhood bar. The beer they serve might be not that great, typical north German beer would be nice if they would offer some other taste of beer even...
