"It's a nice place to visit for lunch or dinner if you like Asian food. Would doubt that the food is 100% authentic Vietnamese but it definitely was delicious. The menu doesn't have very big variety of choices but we liked everything we tried. It's a bit problematic if you go there with the kids and they don't like spicy food. Our option for them was chicken sate with rice. The portions are very big (which you wouldn't expect for the price you pay) so it perfectly can be shared. What I liked the most about this place was the service. The waiters were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome. They were fast taking the orders and we didn't have to wait long for the food. They were amazing with the children too.The place gets busy and it's difficult to get table for dinner even on week says so it's worth calling and booking it to avoid disappointment."

Zentrale Lage, dennoch nicht mitten im Rummel, superleckere Sommer- und sonstige Jahreszeiten-Rollen, auch die übrigen Speisen sind klasse.

Food served is delicious, staff is polite and quick. This is a must for every person visiting Vienna wanting to try some rolls. Authentic but with their own touch. View menu

Fantastic spring rolls and and delicious Vietnamese pho! Good atmosphere, service sometimes slower, but a great place to relax and take your time! Great little area, seating inside with huge open windows or outside on sidewalk patio.

This is a very good value Vietnamese restaurant. I had the stir fried chicken and vegetables, which was very fresh, and delicious, while my partner had the stir fried chicken, vegetables with noodles, which was also very good. The service was friendly and quick. Although the seating is simple, this is a very popular place to eat with the locals - little wonder. So if you want to eat later in the evening, it would be wise to book.

I love Vietnamese food and my first try is always the pho and some rolls to see how the kitchen is doing... The rolls were excellent - honey-roasted pork was my first option. A Vietnamese lady prepares them at a desk outside the kitchen, so you can enjoy the preparation. The pho was very nice, but for me it could be a little bit more... I was quiet hungry, so I ordered a second portion of rolls, roasted duck - yummy! Service was great, casual and very friendly! View menu

My friend and I went there, she has been a fan for their summer roll there. I tried the Vietnamese featuring dish beef soup PHO, however, it was so poorly prepared. The soup has no taste, the beef slice was very thick, those meat balls did not taste fresh. Side vegetables are neither fresh, and the portion is rather small. And the PHO is charged far to high than other restaurants. In Vienna, to enjoy Vietnamese food, there are certainly better options. The service is plain.

Gasthaus Sapa is so far the best Vietnamese restaurant I have tried in Vienna. Close to Mariahilferstrasse (I. E. City center), it offers several tables for outdoor sitting and also two rooms - smoking and non-smoking one. In terms of interior it is nothing special, I would rather say old, but the food and service are very good. The menu is not extremely rich, but we tried salads, spring rolls and main dishes and everything was delicious. The prices were also low compared not only to similar restaurants, but also for Vienna as a whole (for a portion of spring rolls, 2 salads, 2 main dishes and drinks for 4 we paid 50€). If you like Vietnamese food, definitely give it a try.
