"Gaucho enjoys a great location at Canary Riverside, and it's always a pleasant place for a meal, whether on the (heated) terrace or in the cow hide clad interior. The food is what you would expect good pieces of Argentine beef, grilled as you like them, with a variety of sides and sauces and a wide selection of Malbec. Today I went for the bife de lomo nice fillet steak with chimichurri sauce, while my wife had the smaller version of the same, with béarnaise sauce. Both were melt in your mouth good, and the fries and tomato salad we ordered were also faultless. Overall a great experience, although, at £128 (excluding service but including two cocktails, two glasses of wine and a bottle of water), it was definitely not cheap, especially for what is, after all, a chain restaurant."

we were last Friday after gaucho. as a massive beef fan I had very high expectations at this place. I had the ribeye, that was really delicious and well presented. the service was very professional and our friendly waitress made us enjoy our time there. I love wein, but didn't know very well the products from Argentinia. we had a humberto channel and a gran zorzal recommended by sommelier. both were very good.

Atmosphere and service: 3/5; Food: 4.5/5. My partner and I recently visited this restaurant for brunch and had a wonderful experience. We loved the variety of dishes and the tasty cocktails. It was a great bonus to have vegetarian options available for our veggie friends. The only downside was that the service could have been better and we were bothered by loud neighboring tables, making it hard to have a conversation.

We were excited at the prospect of gin cocktails on the terrace of the very glamorous Gaucho by the pier at Canary Wharf; but June in England is always risky, and on the evening of the event, the skies turned grey and then issued a downpour of rain. Plan B was put into action, and our soon-to-be merry bunch of bloggers settled into the bar area to partake of the No. TEN Citrus cocktails which are only available at this location.

The location and atmosphere of the restaurant were fantastic. Although our group was large and there was some confusion when we arrived, we were able to change tables despite pre-booking. The service was extremely slow, with our main course coming nearly 2 hours after we were seated. The steaks were delicious, but the portions could be slightly larger. The prices seemed a bit high, but considering the great location and quality of the meat, it may be justifiable.

The server was extremely friendly and took the time to explain to me the origin of the meats and show me different cuts and sizes, which was very helpful in making my decision. The pricing was not proportional to the portion size I received, as I ordered the rib eye which came with chips and a drink. Unfortunately, the drink was warm and not filled to the top, which was disappointing. However, the chips and steak were delicious. The restaurant had a stylish and upscale interior, although it was a bit chilly.
