"We stumbled upon this place for probably all the wrong reasons ... my husband was tired, we needed a restroom, and they were serving dinner before 7pm. I had gnocchi with Bolognese sauce; my brother-in-law is a chef, and it tasted like his sauce. My husband had pizza; we're pretty set in our ways. He said it was ok, but, of course NOT Papa Murphy's! I told him that pizza in Rome is different (and even different than the pizza we ate in Naples). The waiter was very pleasant, didn't seem to take issue with my very few words of Italian, and the restroom was clean. The prices were ok; I haven't found anywhere inexpensive in Europe during my various visits over the past ten or so years (the euros tend to soar away quickly). We're pretty easy going; purists may or may not agree with our opinions."

Waiter refused to take a question, and refused to serve food at 22:00. Worst service we experienced in rome

Worst customer service in all of Rome! This was an unpleasant experience, with waitors who didnt smile or say hello, and ignored us. Do not recommend!

Trastevere is bursting with tourist traps, but we settled for this old style Roman bar and eatery on a corner of the square with the same name. A mixed salad and a rigatoni carbonara went down well and were served by enthusiastic guys who made lots of effort to make us (tourists) feel welcome! Straightforward, cool, recommended.

Great food, speedy service, good attentive waiters who spoke excellent English (very useful when you speak no Italian! Huge pizzas for €7-10, good selection of cocktails for €7. Spent a couple of hours here, enjoying the atmosphere and good company of the staff. Pastries looked amazing, but too full from pizza and olives stuffed with meat (my new favourite starter! Would definitely recommend

I was looking for a place to eat pizza or pasta and visit the toilet (Yes, sometimes we need it). I was pleasantly surprised by the prices, and by the waiter with his good English and his friendness. Pizza was on a thin dough, full of cheese. There were three large TV, but wathchig was not very comfortable: high. The bar is very small, but there is a lot of tables outside. And very important: no charge for the service (like in the most of places in Italian restorans)

We ate here on Sunday night.Despite a warm welcome and decent pizzas the overall experience was spoiled by the shocking bill. As we had friends with us and their young child on my wifes advice I declined to pull them up on it. The boss made a suggestion for a traditional Roman starter which was accepted without question. No price was mentioned. 37 euros for a plate of appetizers was outrageous and hugely disappointing. There are plenty of great places in Trastevere, this isnt one of them.

Stumbled upon this restaurant with my boyfriend. We were starving and looking for a nice place to visit for lunch. A friendly but seemingly pushy waiter greeted us outside and we felt we had to have lunch here. We were seated outside (our preference) and brought menus. I ordered a mojito while my boyfriend ordered a beer. The cocktail was nice but lacked in mint. I ordered carbonara and my boyfriend ordered lasagne with a side of mozzarella sticks to share. The food came promptly but I was a little disappointed that my carbonara wasn’t piping hot, just luke warm. Nonetheless, it was tasty and I finished it. My boyfriend’s lasagne was beautiful and the cheese sticks were a nice touch. Average...
