"It was the birthday (a big one! of one of the crew on our yacht at nearby Glenarm marina, where we berthed on our way from Plymouth to Argyll. One of our number has limited mobility, and Glencloy Inn was about 3 miles away on a wet night. Trying to find a taxi in such a remote spot was proving very difficult, but Paddy sorted this out for us. Great food, excellent service and a hugely welcoming hostelry. If this is Irish hospitality, I’ll definitely be back! Excellent value too."

Stopped here for lunch with friends. The owner was very hospitable as were his staff. Had a very nice lunch and a few drinks. The bar is smart and well maintained and is an ideal stop if travelling up the coast.

An awesome pint of Guinness in a cosy pub. Food is great and the staff are attentive and friendly. The locals are friendly and great craic. Been here a couple of times during Saturday afternoons with the kids and they love the grub too!!! Definitely worth a visit!!! View menu

During our visit, this restaurant was lively with a lot of customers gathered around the bar. The atmosphere was friendly and the bar staff was nice. However, the menu did not have many options for vegetarians so we decided not to dine there. Overall, it has received good reviews.

The bar and lounge provided a fun atmosphere, but the food was not as impressive. The fish was moist and limp, although the batter was crunchy and tasty. The chips were disappointingly pale. All three of us who ordered the fish wished we had chosen the chicken stack instead, as it was delicious.

Went in for a couple of drinks here due to us staying locally. The stove in the bar was lovely and the bar itself was immaculately clean. One of the big judgements for me is how clean the toilets are and the Glencloy clearly has a high standard. Didn't serve food during the week but a great place for a drink View menu

We discovered this gem on the way to the causeway. We decided to stop for lunch and chose this place at random based on the positive reviews, and we were not disappointed. The service, ambiance, and food were all top-notch. We ordered a variety of appetizers and main courses. I tried the soup and I must say it was possibly the best mushroom soup I have ever tasted. We would definitely return for another visit.

The staff and owner of the Glencloy could not have been more helpful and welcoming. If you’re gonna eat here make sure you can eat, for the portions are massive. Really good quality food served quickly and piping hot. So full of flavour and a cracking pint of Guinness too. Nice to see so many younger staff members so well tuned into their job. Really on the ball and a credit to the inn and to themselves. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! 100
