"We were incredibly impressed with quality of food and very tasteful interior style, so were extra disappointed when the service was so poor! Only two members of staff struggling to keep on top of all of the tables between them and seating countless new customers and without dealing with existing ones. After we had enjoyed our lunch we decided to order a drink and piece of homemade cake but never got to as we sat in front of our empty plates for half an hour before realising the only way people were managing to get the attention of staff was by forming a queue at their small till point. Having joined said queue to pay I was asked to bear with them a minute as they tried to work out which tables had been updated on their system, so sat back down and made friends with the two ladies next to us who were equally as confused that they had walked into such a lovely establishment but been left waiting with closed menus for half an hour. If they’d just had another two people serving and been a bit more organised the whole experience would have been a solid five stars so hopefully this situation was just a one off!"

Although not inexpensive or overly crowded, the breakfast was very enjoyable.

I thought my food was nice but my wife had beans on toast and said it was the best bean on toast she had

This restaurant offers a classic angel food cake with a sweet twist, and they also serve breakfast. (sighs and nods in approval)

Lovely small tea room, perfect spot for enjoying finger sandwiches and a drink while strolling through the picturesque historic village of Chipping Campden.

Love this place. Great for a quick bite before or during lunch time. Really good coffee and cakes too. Staff are always really helpful and there's normally a big team so you get served quickly. Recommended sitting outside in the rear courtyard if it's a sunny day. Also recommend the smoke salmon and scrambled eggs or bagel with brie and bacon.

I went to the tea rooms on a bustling Sunday and despite the crowd with tables full and a line out the door, I received excellent service and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. It was evident that the food was freshly cooked, not just reheated, so I was happy to wait a bit longer. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and I definitely plan on returning to sample more of their tasty homemade cakes.

The tearoom is cozy, but the customer service was lacking due to being understaffed. Customers were waiting to pay or asking about their food, with a crowd gathering around our table. Our pepper pot was taken and given to another table without being returned. They charged extra for baked beans, and only offered fried eggs for a full English breakfast. When asking for a different preparation, I was informed it would cost extra. Despite the busy Sunday, the staff should have been more experienced and attentive to avoid such chaos. In comparison, Broadway Deli in Broadway offered exceptional food and excellent customer service.

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
