"Went there with friends, We all had the Amirstari Kulcha at £5.99, great price for small portion of chana curry, yoghurt, pickle, and an average size kulcha nan.I didn't fancy the kulcha nan, which had, potato, onions, inside it, So I asked if I could change the nan for a normal plain nan.....i was told NO!! its how the complete dish is served. The K nan was tasty, but I found it too heavy full of a potato mix, which in my opinion didn't really go well with the channa curry, you lost the last of the curry with the K nan. Some items are very expensive...ie, gulab juman at £1.99 for 2 pieces, a small portion of gajar halwa at £2.99, mango lassi at £2.99 for an average size glass, 1 popadom at £1.99. Food was tasty, but pricy!!!!"

My associate and I enjoyed a light lunch here. He chose vegetarian whilst I went down the butter chicken route. No frills, tasty cuisine that 'hits the spot '.

Would not recommend this place to any one. Service was awful, short staffed. The girls who served us had no clue. And to top it off the food was tasteless. I know I should not say this but the food was disgusting!!!!!

Food is good but whether you get it or not is dependant on Chef's mood of the day. We have eaten there couple of times but every time you have to go there thinking whether you will be served. They have funny timings within which...

Very good value for money food. Only downside is that this is a strictly no alcohol zone. Not even a BYOB! So no chance of enjoying a Kingfisher or Cobra with your meal : . Highly recommend the Bhatura and Ameitsari Kulcha. Massive portions, just FYI.

We came here for my Mothers birthday and can honestly say we would never eat here again. The food arrived cold, when the food came out again there was a special ingredient inside one of our dishes (Hair!)The customer service is terrible the food arrived before the drinks and we had to ask on three occasions for our drinks to be brought and we did not even get an apology!Best to Avoid this place!

Waited 35 mins to get a waiter to pay attention. Menu had a lot of variety and appetizing choices which were all very reasonably priced. Ordered the Amritsari kulcha, fish, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, lassis, butter chicken. The salty lassi was HORRIBLE! Amritsari Kulcha and fish was fine. The rest was barely tolerable but I was shocked how poor the service was. The only thing that makes it a Dhaba is the prices are low. Will never go back again!

"The food is really enjoyable. Some of the meat can be a bit dry in parts but generally speaking it's quite good. Is it better than what you'd get at the average chippy? Not for what it costs. Ordering two box meals and a couple of sides got the cost up to £50 with charges. Considering a large mixed meat in naan at my local chip shop is £7, it's incredibly expensive. There's far too much waste which really needs to be addressed. Every food item is at least two layers of packaging deep. With a box meal you have the outer corrugated cardboard box, then all dividers inside, then the kebab sandwich is in a box of its own, then it's in a foil wrapper, then it's in a paper wrapper. It's all needless waste and when we're all trying to be more conscious of our carbon footprint this just isn't required. There are some nice things that just aren't replicated elsewhere, their kebab bread is fantastic and very similar to a traditional Turkish pide. Their sauces are really good too. Full of flavour and balanced well with the meat but I will say there's never enough of it. Three little poxy pots is all you get.The fries are average. Nothing remarkable about them. The spicy fries are a tasty addition but this option does bump up the price but again, perfectly average.Overall I'd recommend that it's worth trying at least once but the prices are way over valued and quantity in some areas lack. If they cut down on all the needless packaging they could even bring the prices down but £15-20 for a box meal (one can of pop, one kebab sandwich, one fries and two spring rolls) it's a bit of a joke."
