"impossible operation. the man is only not in the service anywhere. we had a table reserved, added at 21:15h but on the phone no one told us that this was too late. At the gonsenheimer hof we stood outside and ran over the free tables. the most rudely crooked waiter who came to me was already on us and greeted us broken German and the words: "Stop, it is free enough." when I thought we were just overwhelmed at him a lot of tables the guy actually looked after me. arrived with the cards he made straight clear that was in 40 minutes party. to ask my friend if he would throw us out then he pulled up the eyebrow poisonously and said, "Enjoy is a night's evening." We got up and left. his younger colleague seemed really frightened, the waiter himself grinned me cheeky, so I couldn't get a "beautiful evening". eating itself is really mediocre, nothing we should have liked to behave like that. at the first time there we had the same waiter, at the time openly unfriendly, but that shot the bird. I work in the service in addition to studying myself and I am often also annoyed but would be a behavior in my business a warning. this is not part of a service operation!"

My husband and I have eaten here numerous times and each time is very enjoyable. The wine list is good, the menu is seasonal, and the terrace is worth a wait, if the weather is nice.

the restaurant offers plenty of space and free tables even without reservation. the focus is on a balkan kitchen, very tasty prepared meals, sometimes a little fat. the service is unfortunately only average, you get the drinks served, but more not. the price/performance ratio is ok. we will go back there.

I was spontaneously eating with my daughters there on Easter Monday and was thrilled. the staff and the services were extremely nice and I also found very competent. the food was really good for the good price. the only thing I could criticize is the waiting time for the main course (25 minutes) but what happens to me with a family dinner not negatiw. we decided to go back there.

the restaurant has been there for many years and the quality of the food was much better even earlier.A plentiful selection of German/international balkan cuisine. for every taste something is there! Many meat and fish dishes are fried sharply and are just like this; the sweet has little or no taste and everything is extremely fat.The salatable in the beer garden does not seem very lush - you can't do it all right.

with nice weather we have set ourselves to the farm at the midday. the ambiente is suitable for total comfort. unfortunately we were a little late. the lunch card had no validity anymore. but that was not a problem; in the big selection you always find a court. we had a stuffed chopsteak with pommes and rice, with an salat of the fat. it tasted very good again. the service was attentive. the portions are suitable for the great hunger! we are happy to come back!

We were in Mainz, Germany for 10 days to visit our son and went to dinner at recommended local restaurants every night. The Gonsenheimer Hof was so good that it was the only place we ate on two different nights. It's like a neighborhood bar with excellent food and they have English menus. They have two sampler plates that allow you to try 5 or 6 different meats. The waiters all speak English, are very friendly, quick to make recommendations and to answer any questions. It's a couple of miles outside of Mainz so it will require a taxi or in our case a rental car.

Even though it looks like an old-school German Inn, it is comfortable, and the food is very good if not pretentious. A combination of German/Austrian staples such as the ubiquitous Schnitzel, and Balkan style grilled meat such as Pljeskavica (Burger filled with cheese), all well prepared and served in large portions. The wine is very reasonably priced, and the service firendly and efficient. A local place that does not feel too local. Also worth the visit in the summer, where the Innenhof is open, and with its flower pots and trees feels very relaxed and welcoming.

never again! we sat for dinner outside in the garden, very beautiful Mediterranean environment. when you look more closely, everything looks more sloppy, the chair rests anything but well maintained. the personal looks sweet, how hospitable you feel ready. we served bad, bad meat. the waiter, addressed to the incredible, cunning from the waiter and disappeared with the comment: this is not the meat that smells, but the wash basin .na great! then we ordered something else, which was quite okay, but we were appetit, the bad smell still in the nose, but somehow over. also a snuck on the house could not stop us that we soon left. that was our, after long time intervals, 3rd and last attempt. con...

"twice we were in the patagonia in mainz, at the opening on the 15th March and as we liked it so well, again on the occasion of our high season on the 31st March. the first visit we made with our three little children and it was as it should be, that is, unproblematic. we came in and felt comfortable. the ambiente is so heartless. there are food for children, a high chair, place in restaurant, so that the children can walk around, the hosted outdoor area is closed with a forte – you are child-loving. the restaurant was well visited, yet eating quickly and hot on the table. the meat was very tasteful outside chess inside tender and juicy (rib eye and rumpsteak,) the finely prepared supplements underline the taste, with a red wine merlot or cabernet sauvignon the experience. during the second visit we had an salat and empanadas after the classic freshly prepared aperitif pisco sour as an appetizer, and on request a compilation of all: empanadas de queso, empanadas de pino and empanadas de camarón – queso all of it. the salat ensalada perales con queso (mixed salat with gorgonzolabällchen in mangochutney, weinbirnen, pistazien and balsámico walnut oil) is an unusual but a very successful harmonious taste experience. then the steaks: lomo puerto varas (rib eye 220g) and lomo torres del paine (rumpsteak 350g) again outside chess and inside tender and juicy – also the 350g piece. the meat comes from chile and is chilenic, medium is standard, prepared. with the spicy supplements and matching wein this time the excellent pinot noir expresión reserve 2009 a pleasure. due to the experience of the first visit we have deliberately not ordered the filet (because you know it is perfect, has to be perfect) because we wanted to know how to deal with normal meat. conclusion: you can and indeed very well! the desserts papaya chilena (chilenic papaya filled with mascarpone cream and skyberry sauce) or helado de miel de ulmo (ice from ulmenhon with poppy and skyberry sauce) then represent a successful conclusion with an excellent coffee. a few small things are to be improved to get to perfection; as always at restarts of restaurants that are not part of a chain that individually start from ground. but the passion, the heart for the thing is clear to see and feel: you are really special on the best way."

"Pizzeria Popeye Why do you call a pizzeria after a whirlpool? I find no indication, especially the operators are real Italians. Was Popeye Italian? I don't think so. At least there are some dishes with spinach on the map. But from the front... This small pizzeria lives mainly from delivery and collection. No one is lost in this corner of Bretzenheim. Neither a sign shows here, nor can you see it remotely, simply hidden in the middle of the residential and office blocks. I noticed when I bought rolls nearby. My lady was sworn twice with friends and from the fresh pasta. Then it can't be that wrong. The ambience is, how should I describe it? Let me know. A glass box, right next to a KFZ workshop, within the “kitchen” and a counter on the drinks are prepared. A few more tables. I haven't seen any toilets, but I think I'm around the corner in the same building. Then there are outside seats. Every campsite is more cozy. There is a pot with herbs and less edible greenware, but it was also with color and a feeling of joy... Fortunately, you can park directly in front of the store, five – six places are free, three of them reserved for the Popeye. We are also recognized and welcomed as potential guests. Instruction of space, but false representation. So we're planting the next table. What's going on? I almost hit my chin on the edge of the table... Is the table too high or the chair too deep? Peter Maffay could probably look through the Bistro table when he comes to the steel pipe arm without help; But seriously, somehow the share is not right... “Popeye” simply tried a female table to recommend the day (yes! it is there to explain and accept her drink order. His colleague “Wimpy” brings us wordless the card, table set and cutlery he puts on a paper napkin with built-in dictionary. Then look at Mer ma... Of course, lots of pizza, and very lonely, on request the bottle is baked directly on stone! Plus. There are also four appetizers (Carpaccio von Rind und Lachs, various vegetables and Bresaola . Add salads, pasta where you can choose the noodles, a few pigs and turkey dishes. And the praised fresh pasta that is called homemade again. Where's this house? “Wimpy” releases our drinks, a coke light (2.50 0.4 and a Erdinger alcohol and yeast (2.60 0.5). He's an Italian... After a good five minutes we can order without being informed about the recommendations. “Popeye” seat cushion brings us to it (now no stupid comments and you sit much more comfortable and higher on the table. In advance we authorize an Insalata Mista (4,00 €) (with cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and carrots on the right, more was not in it. We would have liked to have had a second record because we said he was for both of us. We were allowed to choose the dressing, we chose oil balsamico. But it is not possible to penetrate salt and pepper to a dressage. A mill standing on the table was then fixed. Unfortunately, the oil was not one of the olives (as Popeye's friend says... so hasn't tasted the coarsely sprinkled iceberg (which calls itself salad at all? The onions in big rings, the carrots and did not taste sour to know them from the glass. The tomatoes were cut artistically into eights, even with Freeland aroma points. The few cucumber discs were partially peeled. The taste was usually gone. If you have a few herbs from the pot with salt and pepper, the salad could have been worth its money. Not like that! 2* “Wimpy” was allowed to collect the empty plates that were painted on many corners and ask for satisfaction. In the meantime, “Popeye” ran repeatedly with his black Fiat Seicento pizza. It was time to get rid of cartons. If we get our food after twenty minutes, the terrace is full. (about 15 people with us. The lady naturally chose fresh pasta, and there are seven different varieties of different fillings. Tortelloni Ricotta e Spinaci (9,50 € Of course a finished product, but a very good one. The huge noodles beautifully outdated, the filling really tasty, good parmesan and a beautiful muscat note. The sauce on the basis of cream deceived with a lot of leaves of spinach, and I now claim that it was fresh, and I could also feed a whole noodle. Miss happy and tired, what do I want more? But since it wasn't done in this house, only 4*. Pizza Spizza (8.50 €) (Mozzarella, Salsiccia Calabrese, red onions, cocktail tomatoes, garlic If desired, this was not baked in the leaf but directly on stone. And you noticed. I was only surprised by the rhomb-shaped pattern in the pizza floor as if it was on a grid. The pizza wonderfully pink, maybe a little too thick the dough. Tomato sauce really spicy, garlic plentiful, tomatoes full of aroma and cheese mozarella. Only the census and the salsiccia again so rough. You could eat them well and I had more fun with it than I expected. I am striving for about 4* conclusion: I can make a conditional recommendation for food. The pizza can be something, the noodles are also of good quality. Let's practice salad again, but honestly; in Italy I rarely had better. I'm hard, three are too small, four for the raw food too much. 3.5 would be good, but there is not. Undoubtedly for the defendant, 4*, rounded! The service does what it needs, but not anymore. And that we had to wait ten minutes until the bill could be requested, is not a testimony of good performance. But they're kind. There's still air up there. 2* The ambience is not. 2* And clean it is only on the table. That's enough for 3*. I can't judge inside. Total impression: 3 – if it results, again! All the little things I can see if I want to go uncomplicated food. Only why is the Popeye Shop called? (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – when it comes back, 4 – again happy, 5 – necessarily back to the kitchen trip."
