Der Service ist sehr freundlich und persönlich, das Essen ein Traum. Fein gewürzt, tolle Qualität und nicht übertrieben, aber ansprechend angerichtet. Frau/Mann sollte sich auf die Tagesempfehlung einlassen, alles einfach nur ein Geschmackserlebnis. Leider ist das Lokal an sich nicht sehr gemütlich und steht im Gegensatz zu dem hervorragenden Essen... aber lieber so, als andersrum... Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und freuen uns darauf... Dietary restrictions: Glutenfreie Speisen wären kein Problem für den Besitzer und Koch"

"after several vain attempts to get a table even with a multi-week advance to christmas, then it worked on a normal Sunday, correspondingly high were the expectations. they were only partially fulfilled. the room is simple and modern, well maintained ambiente, even if the garderobe is irritated only after the entrance (unattended, you should already drop off or register in the restaurant ...?!). the welcome by the obvious chefin was abundantly subcooled, which remained so during the further course of the evening. with masters was chatted, even in the neighboring, with the unsightly effect that you had to return over minutes and back directly in front of the teller. the young service power did this through friendly beings and engagement again something.It was "French Week", the wobbly soup of my companion was excellent, my bouillabaise good. the main dishes had a good meat quality, the amount on the dish was large, but the preparation without raffinesse. the coq au riesling was almost barely plastered, boiled chicken, with a bound light sauce: a desired but not conjugated presentation. why an average supplemental salad with aromaless tomaten was served to me also does not reveal. Perhaps you should give a second chance, but motivated are neither me nor my companions. a lot of noise. here you could cut off a disc at the sandhof in heidenheim."

"we thought it was time that four years ago opened patagonia in the mainzer neustadt to test. the bus and tram connection is excellent, the parking situation is very difficult. there is an outside area at the restaurant, and the dining room is large and clear. because the guests were distributed outside and inside, the reservation about opentable would not have been necessary. so we were allowed to choose a table and were welcomed by the two ladies in the service friendly. we found a rectangle with a view of a large flatscreen, on which a diashow of pictures ran from patagonia, which first triggered television. steaks are offered in all variations, and the selection is quite difficult. we first took three empanadas with different fillings that relatiw quickly came out of the kitchen and taste very good.My wife decided in the main course for a rumpsteak of the even medium rare with grill potatoes and salad. I had previously researched the card in the internet and asked myself what a flap steak was. wikipedia helped and so I knew it was a cut that is very common in patagonia and comes very close to the us sirloin strip. I wanted to try this and ordered it **** in the bloom. I took a foil potato. both supplements were handed with the obligatory sourcream with coriander. the two supplemental salads were fresh, colourful and crisp, with the carrots also liked as a supplement. Even with critical consideration, the performance was in all respects of expectations: the services were extremely friendly and stood also in the meat selection with rat and did the side. the we chose to be perfectly met. confusingly I found the hints in the menu on the recommended per steak. these were all together and especially between medium and well done. that was not comprehensible for me because of the top quality of meat, all in all a very successful evening with a quite reasonable price-performance ratio. we like to come back to patagonia."

"the restaurant has tables in the open and in the interior, but although it is a bit warm, we decided to have a table in the interior, as we could enjoy the architecture and the beautiful relaxing and romantic atmosphere with gentle light and candles on the numerous tables. the menu is also available in English language and besides the fixed orientation there was a seasonal menu with lighter dressing. besides binding beer we have made from the solid food card wildbow sausage or bratwurst with sprinkled onions accompanied by potato puree and mustard, all served on a wooden board, and from the summer card a vegan strudel made of lenses, tomatoes and vegetables with a basilikum sauce. really generous portions, absolutely a single dish. all very tasty, even the brot was really good. Faster and accommodating service: when accidentally a huge chop came on the table, they immediately apologized and made the mistake again good by bringing the chosen dish. Perhaps the prices are a bit above the average, but at such a particular location there are them."

"equipment very cool, tables are very narrow, everything is more to dry. theke and the ceiling lamps are nice but the rest are uncomfortable. clear but varied card.Availing comes promptly, distributed menus and takes up quite unfriendly the order. ach the leberknödel are out, you can also tell if the cards are distributed!Then the note that today everything takes longer because in the kitchen are out. (the local has 40 places and is only half occupied). then come the appetizers. crostini bean tapenade....very oily, and after that you are already fed up, the main dish could be ordered. also the other appetizers are too much, rather share something!!Naja the main dish should take something, so the initial note. Nothing here, the first food comes, the appetizers have not yet been cleared. hectic, then the note in the kitchen had gone a bit wrong. well I eat alone, my 4 companions watch.The calves are not crispy, the panad falls off and is fat-savvy and the meat is not tender. also the bratkartoffels are very fat and by no means crispy. the other eats are dry (hirschgulasch) and the kartoffelstampf is also extra enriched with fat/oil. Conclusion, there are much more beautiful, more cozy restaurants in mainz, with more professionalism and ambiente. you can also eat better and then usually has more space available and more friendly service. for bistroambiente, moderate eating and missing professionalism too expensive."

"We went for a lunch get-together with friends last week. Nice ambience and courteous service once again. For starters, we had samosa chat, papdi chat, veg pakodas, Singh wing chicken wings. For drinks we had lemonade (sweet nimbu paani). Starters were very good in taste...and quite big proportions. So one starter was more than enough for two persons on average. For main course we ordered butter garlic naan, lamb pav, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala and paneer masala. We liked the chicken korma and paneer masala better with the garlic naan. Freshly cut onion, green chilly and a piece of lemon was also served with the main course. The lamb pav was more like a burger to look at and served with fries and chutneys. The lamb pav was also very good in taste. Overall, we enjoyed a superb sumptuous meal with family and friends."

"Absolutely first class! Authentic Korean food and excellent Japanese food in a beautiful location and with great price performance ratio! We stayed at the Domo tonight for dinner. We were warmly welcomed. The toilets were exemplary clean and the hygiene guidelines were perfectly adhered to, especially at Corona times, there was also a well-draged higher-class disinfectant at the entrance. Our Tempura Moriawase was very generously dimensioned, beautifully dressed and wonderful in taste. With one of the best Ebi Tempura I've ever eaten in Germany and three times as big as you get used to it by Convenience Ware. Also the Ebi Maki were wonderfully delicate and fresh, the rice great in typical Japanese style delicately sourned. The homemade Kimchi was very mild in taste and well ripened and even for European palates not sharp, rather picant. The Jajiangmyeon (noodles with black bean sauce) were super authentic and wonderful in taste, especially the noodles of high quality. All products are freshly selected and made with care. The atmosphere is cozy and cordial, the dishes are great and tasty and for an absolutely reasonable price in the middle segment. We are very happy to come back here, especially because of the very friendly, concerned and accommodating service. Thank you for this great experience!"

"we decided spontaneously to visit this restaurant. already at 19:00 clock everyone was occupied, but the waiter reserved us within 10 minutes the next free table. the service was very friendly and accommodating. we had appetizers and pizzas, all fresh and well prepared. the room is unfortunately overeaten with additional offered on chalkboards on the wall and overall looks very small. Overall however, worth a visit, even if it is somewhat more expensive."

"we had to do with holes in mommenheim, we couldn't eat a bit in the clubhouse because they had a private booking for people for a high time, so we went to pizza dato in Mainz-Hechtsheim. the place was not too. burdensome, so we had no problem finding parking for two cars. we sat outside on the terrace, the waitress brought us the menus, we ordered big caught pils and a wine beer. "This is such a great place for modern vegan sushi. They only have a single item marked as vegan (which is the vegan surprise sharing platter for two for 35 EUR), but this is a good hint, because it is absolutely the item you should get here. (You can also order a half platter for 17.50 EUR, which you can also share and which is great for a light meal for two The sushi is quite modern, very inventive and really nicely presented. We were here in asparagus season and got some sushi based on that: Some deep-fried, some marinated, all with their unique sauces and all very nicely arranged on the platter. The portion is also quite filling and absolutely worth the money. They also have great teas to drink, I really recommend their Sencha tea. Again, everything is nicely presented in hand crafted ceramic cups."

"Having been back to Germany for a vacation of four weeks, we just had to return for a dinner at Mediterraneo in Mainz because my wife and I loved this restaurant and its Mediterranean Cuisine from the very start. This time we met friends there...as well, having made a date with them for dinner, and again we loved our stay at Mediterraneo very very much. Excellent meals, nice selection of wines, the wonderful atmosphere and the absolutely friendly and competent service made our dinner to be one of the culinary highlights of our stay in Mainz. I had wonderful gnocchi, absolutely fresh, and the restaurant's vitello tonnato as well, of course, which I love so much. Needless to say we pass on plenty of compliments to the chef in the kitchen as well. Those people know how to run a good restaurant, and Mediterraneo is a marvellous restaurant indeed. I do highly recommend this beautiful restaurant to foodies like me, to the gourmets in Mainz and from elsewhere. It's such a good place where to sit and dine with the ones you love. Being back in Germany next year, where are we going to eat again shortly after our arrival? Exactly, you got it."

"Solides Essen mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Einen Punkt Abzug da sehr viel Müll für die Verpackung produziert wird. Da gibt es heutzutage umweltfreundlichere Alternativen Nachtrag Dezember 2021: Leider muss ich einen weiteren Stern abziehen. Seit ein paar Monaten gibt es eine neue Speisekarte. Gestrichen wurden unter anderem gebratene Nudeln und gebratener Reis, Gerichte die ich früher zweimal die Woche bestellt habe. Leider werden beide Gerichte auch auf Nachfrage nicht zubereitet. Schade"

"the bourgeois is one of the addresses, which are due to my efforts to decrease weight and again fail;o) to tasty and to plentiful fall out here the portions. here there is everything that tastes delicious under the collective term "good civic" and who the portions are too big chooses the senior portion that is available for almost every dish. my tipp is the cordon bleu complete - with pommes and salat. even if this dish does not exist in the smaller senior variant, it comes butterfly and with love made from the kitchen and is served by the fleeting and friendly service staff. in summer you can sit on the cozy terrace. good talks with nice guests, the one or other celebrity of gonsenheimer fastnight or the friendly chef gives up. only tiny drop of wormwood, which disturbs me again and again: the best with plastic handles come from the 70s - or at least look like that. here I strongly recommend a replacement investment! otherwise a real recommendation - and if they try it out... remember me when they see this cute."
