Just enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch. Lovely setting. We'll be back!

Dreadful. Only one in, took 15 mins for a. Coffee and sausage rolls.. Very noisy coffee machine. No meals after 2.30, only cake, sausage roll, scones. Door locked at, 3..35 for 4.30 closure. Never again Service: Dine in Price per person: £30–40

All I can say is wow, wow, and wow! The food was fabulous, the setting was lovely, and the staff was amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. The authentic and delicious food featured a wide variety of menu options. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!

Great for a reviving coffee, panini and warm scone. Staff welcoming, relaxing space for peaceful refreshments and interesting local arts and crafts. Bonus crafts and gifts space what a find. Finally some lovely local corn ears too. Local wines, deli, butcher and selection of delicious baked goods. Felt inspired, refreshed and welcomed. Service: Dine in View menu

We arrived at 11:29 and were informed that breakfast ended at 11:30, so we couldn't order that. However, lunch didn't start until 12:00, leaving us with no dining options in between. If we hadn't spent ten minutes and £10 shopping, we would have made it in time for breakfast. It seems absurd that there was a half-hour window where the only choice was cakes. We came out looking for a substantial meal and found the lack of flexibility frustrating. Service: Dine in.

We arrive at 11.29 and we’re told we couldn’t have breakfast as it finished at 11.30. But we couldn’t have lunch either as that did not start until 12. Had we not spent ten minutes and £10 browsing in the shop we would have been able to be in time for breakfast. This half an hour where you can only order cakes seems ridiculous . Absolutely amazing! I ordered the cod and chips special, and it was fantastic. The skinless cod fillet was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, encased in the crispiest beer batter I've ever had. The chips were perfectly cooked in real beef dripping, making them delightful. The garden peas and tartare sauce added the perfect finishing touch. As for the price, it was surprisingly reasonable. This place puts what claims to be the best takeaway in Southwold to shame for the same cost. I dare any restaurant or takeaway to offer meals of this quality at the same price... it simply can't be done! View menu
