We tried to book in advance but couldn't get through as the phones were down. We turn turned up when they opened and it felt like we had inconvenienced them. After this though everything was great. We always enjoy our food at the Amber Bar Restaurant. It 's one of the few places that on their Special 's board I can sometimes find a heartwarming favourite of mine, lambs liver and bacon served on a creamy mashed potato bed, with sauted onion, gravy and a dish of al-dente veg. My plate was completely clean when I finished. Other food is of course available and was eaten by friends dining with me. That 's just one of my favourites done so well by Andy

The food at this restaurant was mediocre at best. While the pizzas were decent, the burger was not worth the price and the seafood linguine was terrible and lacked any crab. The waitstaff was forgetful and failed to take our drink orders, and the coke we ordered was flat. The wait for our food felt like forever in a dull and unexciting atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend dining here due to the high prices and low quality of food and service. If you do decide to eat here, make sure to bring good company, entertainment, and your own snacks and drinks.

Had a pretty decent evening meal at Amber Bar Restaurant. They ask you to wear masks when walking around inside, take your temperature before entering, give you your cutlery inside a plastic box so you can take it yourself, and ask you to view the menus on their website via their QR code. The main meals we had were the fish pie (which was a good portion and well filled) and the chicken katsu curry (which was tasty). Desserts were toffee cheesecake (a fairly small portion and tasted a bit gelatine-like), and lemon tart. Service was pretty slow as it took over 30 mins to get our mains but it wasn't too much of a problem as we weren't in a rush. View menu
