"This was our first Sunday roast in London and we absolutely loved it. The food was great, and the atmosphere was casual. There was a young family sitting there, so quite family friendly. We had the chicken and pork belly both excellent. The crackling on the pork belly was delightful. Both the Yorkshire puddings and the potatoes were nice and crispy. The gravy was nice, though I could have used more to soak up with the potatoes! The staff were lovely. Wheelchair accessibility: there's a small (about 1.5 inches) step in front, but it's hard to get in because the pavement in front of the front door is narrow. A normal sized wheelchair should be fine, but a larger one will struggle. It took me a little while while my power wheelchair, but I got in. There are a few tables downstairs you might want to book in advance, but it should be fine. The toilets are upstairs (not accessible)."

Had a lovely evening in The Hack Hop. A bit on the expensive side but worth it great atmosphere and lovely choice of beers.

I have seen better selection of beers but this place is very recommended if you want a private event as it has a private room for events. Food selection is also good.

Went with a bunch of friends for Sunday roast and everyone enjoyed their experience. Amazing big portions, delicious meats and great beer board with a number of beers to try. Highly recommend! Well done guys.

Had the sharing platter of scotch eggs, sausages, arancini, meatballs and spicy aubergine dip. Good selection though could be a little bigger. Pub also does a decent pub quiz on Mondays and they have TVs for football View menu

The beer selection is outstandingly excellent (Both lager and ales), the staff is friendly and the burger is thoroughly ok... To be honest, the burger is slightly above average, so while I wouldn't mind going here for food again (Trying something different), it wouldn't be...

I’m fortunate enough to work around the corner from this place so a bit biased. However that being said best pub in London. Food, service, staff (big up Liam and Stan) all excellent. A local pub in London that feels more like home than home especially right now. You have to have a hack and hot .

Has best bartender in all London very friendly and professional Bulgarian bloke. Excellent food, very good beer. Mainly yuppies, but you can avoid them in summer and drink outside. Probably one of the best pubs in London. Not much in the way of attractive women. Try around the corner Knights Templar Weatherspoon for that. View menu

Excellent sunday roast! They have a platter that you can share if you want to get a taste of all three of their meats (roast beef, pork belly, and chicken. The chicken was fine, but the roast beef and the pork belly were amazing! Comes with all the usual roast fixings, all of which were cooked perfectly. Make sure to book a table ahead of time!

My SO and I had made a reservation via email for a 4pm Sunday roast a few weeks prior to our trip to London. Unfortunately when we arrived at the arranged time, we were greeted with the restaurant closing and they told us that they didn't have any record of our reservation in their paper books. Later we ended up corresponding with the manger on the original email thread from our reservation request, and they apologized for their mistake (and offered us free food! . However, we didn't have any time to take advantage of this before we had to head back home. So I can't review the food, but was obviously not overall happy with the organization and service. Hopefully they will modernize their res...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
