"Recently had lunch here with a friend, he has relatives in the area and had dined here many times before. The initial impression of the Haderner Augustiner is very positive, it's an old, large, traditional Bavarian building with a really nice biergarten (not usable on...a cold day in March, unfortunately). Inside it's traditional Bavarian decor, right down the waitress in a dirndl. The beer is Augustiner, so of course it's great. They were unfortunately done with their Maximator kegs, but it was still nice to have a Helles. My buddy went with the rostbraten, it was huge and he loved it was well as the krautsalat side he ordered. I went with one of the daily specials, a schnitzel that was coated with potato instead of breading. It was delicious. Not too heavy, certainly not light, but just right We were too stuffed for dessert, but didn't want to leave, so we ordered another beer. The location is not great to get to from downtown Munich, but you can use public transportation to get there. In my opinion, it's well worth the trip. There are many excellent restaurants in Munich, but if you get outside of downtown a bit you'll be lucky to find a gem like the Haderner Augustiner."

As i mentioned in the title the food is not very good. That's a bit of a bummer. But the beer is very tasty: Augustiner. Cheers!

Very good Bavarian food and beer, staff is fast and friendly. Perfect to eat and drink after a hard day of work, especially in their garden

Lots of local customers, full in a March weekday evening. Food was ok, but nothing special, but also nothing to complain about. Large portions ; View menu

We went with our German work colleagues and had a fabulous Bavarian meal. Tasty filling starters and lovely mains with nice string beers. Highly recommended.

Dined here by chance after a very long working day. The menu is enough wide to try some legendary Bavarian food and have to say that the service was pretty fast despite the venues were crowded

Very cool place for food and drinks. I had a duck dish and my friends hat Schnitzel and Pork roast. We were all very happy with every everything. Service was good too. The atmosphere typical Bavarian. Nothing to complain about here. Really nice. View menu

Went out with some friends and had a great time, the service was fast and very attentive. The food was great highly recommend the schnitzel, and the beer was also pretty great. In my opinion though it was just a bit too overheated but overall...great dinner.

We went for a traditional meal here one evening. The building is very attractive and the staff are traditionally dressed. The food was alright but it lacked atmosphere, especially as it was Friday evening. Maybe it livens up later. It was euros for three...meals, puddings and drinks. Not bad but a bit uninspired and there is a lot of choice in Munich.
