"Amazing country pub stones throw away from Fulwood. Excellent choice of beers and spirits. Lovely atmosphere with open fireplaces and stone interiors. Enticing menu with friendly staff. Timely service, you won't be waiting ages for your food unlike some other places. They have got good number of staff to cope with their busy periods. Some very interesting historical pictures dotted around the pub."

it was a special occasion to be our 49th annual day. we chose a lunch break, service, eating and the whole staff was nice. sue chose lamb and I chose steak, both meals were top quality. sticky toffee pudding with ice and brandy to finish a wonderful afternoon.

Had our engagement meal here last night with 48 people everything was brought out together, there were no delays and rave reviews from everyone in the party. It was a perfect evening. eve for lunch could not be happier. it is worth going for the bar alone! the personal was friendly welcome. the food was fabulous, from the scallops to the crispy bark meat salad wonderful cream brûlée. the place itself is more amazing view of the return very soon, especially for one of their organized walks that start with bacon butties starting with lunch. win

booked a table for 6 with something contempt as here have not eaten for years. what a great experience, the personal is efficient and welcoming, the choice at the bar lets them pamper for the choice, no matter what their favorite animal coupler is. over 50 times whiskies! eating; execellent, good proportions of size and reasonable prices. every bit as good as the inn at whitwell.
