"I recently visited Ohanas Cafe Bistro in Chertsey and I was impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I had so far the goat cheese sandwich and the prawn sandwich, and both were excellent. My favorite was the goat cheese sandwich. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The place is small, but it is well-arranged and there is plenty of seating. The coffee could be better and they could have more selections of coffee techniques, though. Overall, I had a great experience at Ohanas Cafe Bistro and I would definitely recommend it to others. "Every time we visit, the queue in the Sunbeam cafe is extremely slow. The issue is with the serving of drinks, where each hot tea/coffe takes a stupid amount of time to prepare. Sometimes there have been 5 staff at the drinks counter, but only one person is able to prepare drinks at a time. It badly needs a faster process, or more machines, or one person dedicated to each machine. The staff working the machines look inept, and seem to waste time doing nothing. Last time we were there, a nice lady was very occupied with putting a pull-out barrier between customers, as soon as they entered the cafe, then retracting the barrier, and putting it back immediately the queue (eventually) move on. It just fascinated me watching, somebody kept very busy, on a seemingly pointless exercise. Maybe she could have served drinks instead?! The food is OK, just fairly expensive, for what it is. Sometimes there are other outlets outside, for drinks, but these usually have queues, or don’t do hot drinks. Come on Brooklands, sort this long-term issue out, as it really spoils what would otherwise, be a perfect day out. It has been going on for FAR TOO LONG."

"My first course had 3 slices of bread with a selection of toppings. 1 was OK (mushrooms in cream) the other 2 were diced tomato and something which was tasteless and both were pointless and uninteresting. With my main course the sauce around the dome of pasta and meatballs was cold, and even after it was bought back to me it was barely warm. The dessert panettone bread pudding was a triumph."

"I like the Mogul because the cooking is slightly different to the usual curry house greats. I would prefer it if the spicy food was more spicy, in our case the dansak was hotter than the Naga curry , 3 chilies should at least make you wince a bit. I'll ask them to rev it up a bit next time. Ambiance could be improved with a fish tank and 20 sitar greats. Beer is way too expensive and they didn't have Carlsburg on tap. I enjoyed the flavour and quality of the food and I'll be back , but I'll go to the pub first."
