"a beautiful restaurant with lots of space. the interieur looks great with lots of trees. the menu is well organized with noten voor vegan and vegetarian options. I love that it is the same amount of vegan en vegetarian options as meat. the vegan burger I had was very tasty and the way they can change them burger makes easy to personalize. but because of all the extras and the sides are not included, the price went fast. not super expensive, but also not cheap. what I really didn't like was that there were no back resting on the sitting. we improvised with one of the trees, but it wasn't that comfortable. the personal speaks perfectly English and is very friendly. overall great experience, but would have stayed longer for more drinks if the seats were more comfortable."

Hans im Glück has a variety of different vegan burgers, as well as 2 vegan desserts. The food is very nice. Since the beginning of the pandemic they also offer a delivery service.

Nice that the condiments were vegan too. All vegan burgers had delicious toppings with lots of choices for patties, buns and toppings. Ice tea with herbs and berries was fresh and delicious.

I was here with friends eating, the girls are vegans, the young wanted to have classic burgers. for that is the hans in the happiness simple (as the sissi and franz the best starting point in imperial lairs! every table get 3 different vegans! the burgers are also absolutely classy and the atmosphere is beautiful outside (some manko is outside, that you look on a stone wall and have no beautiful views as well as inside, where you have a great forest feeling, as is usual for the restaurants in this chain. I like to be back and forth. :

"Holiday, nice weather and still what to do in Kaiserslautern. We planned our start in Kaiserslautern with a light lunch. We visited Ayame for the first time 3 years ago. It is located in the former JVA Kaiserslautern, which was converted a few years ago into the Hotel Alcatraz. A Japanese restaurant fits well here, because the Japanese garden borders directly on the building. We have free parking in the courtyard. Schlichter hotel entrance, only hidden hints at the restaurant The way to the small restaurant leads past the reception. At 13.45 we entered the small restaurant with few seats and hoped to have a seat. Open until 14.00. A long-term construction site on the way to Kaiserslautern forced us to a rather large detour. We were the only guests, were warmly welcomed by a young man. Our question whether we get anything else to eat was kindly hunted. So we took a seat in the small, Japanese-style dining room and got the menu. Optic hasn't changed much since our last visit. Everything is clean and well maintained, bare tables. Daylight only illuminates the room. Unfortunately, you can't look outside. . The menu surprised me. She was partly handwritten and so completely different from my memory. Due to the advanced time, we decided very quickly: 2 large mineral water € 2.50 Foreway to crumb: Edamame € 4.20 For both of us: Sushi Menu € 13.80: Miso Soup, 3 Sushi Nigiri, 4 pieces Hosomaki, 8 pieces Uramaki Our drinks came immediately and well cooled. A good portion of the salted soybeans a little later. The hot beans in the bowl were a tasty crackling beforehand. The young man supported a (his? wife in the open kitchen. Here I was able to observe how the Misosuppe was tasted and the lady freshly prepared our sushi. That made all a very good impression. View into the open kitchen The steaming soup with tofu insert tasted mild and yet aromatic according to the Wakamealga. After a reasonable waiting period, our sushi were served. Very appealing. The 3 Nigiri classic with salmon, shrimp and tuna. The “Makis” pefect rolled, very good in taste. Overall a good portion, we were pleasantly tired. There was really nothing to complain about for the price. Sushi Menu The young man was very attentive, but to expect from two guests. In between the question whether everything tastes. Wasabi, soy sauce and ginger were handed down. In the case of numbers, the solution for the significantly different menu. The young Japanese couple only took over the restaurant a few weeks ago. This also explained that some processes have not yet been very routined. Stay to hope that the small restaurant will talk to friends of Japanese cuisine. Despite proximity to the city, it is very hidden in the building complex. Running is not coming over here and not every hotel guest likes Sushi. The toilets belong to Hotel Alcatraz, are modern, very clean and well maintained. Restaurant and toilets are walkable and without stairs."
