Stopped after a day out, the food is always excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful and the Ale is fantastic. I cannot recommend The Harrows enough, stop you won't be disappointed!

Had Sunday lunch at this establishment and it was delicious generous portions and a good selection of roasts. Easy to find southbound on the A449 Stafford to Wolverhampton road and good parking. Pleasant and efficient staff.

I ordered several things off the menu and all of it was Luke warm and chewy it's very expensive for frozen food that probably came from Iceland or like . I ate not even half of it all and when I was asked if my meal was ok I replied with what I've wrote above . All I got was a sorry and no offer of any kind of refund .

I have driven past this pub many times but hadn't been in for a long time. I met two friends for lunch on Wednesday and had a great experience. The staff were all very friendly and provided table service, which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the best part is that the pub is dog-friendly. Upon arriving at this charming local pub with a lovely outdoor area, our group of 20 was excited for our prebooked meal. However, we were left disappointed with the food - burnt batter on the fish, salty and tough gammon, stodgy chips, and microwaved desserts. While the presentation was nice, the actual quality and portion size did not live up to the price. We also had to request knives, forks, and condiments. It seems that this pub may not be equipped to handle large dining parties due to limited space. Despite this negative experience, I am hopeful that a return visit for just lunch may change my opinion.

I have visited this pub a few times and have always enjoyed a great lunch, but my most recent experience was quite disappointing. We arrived just before 4 to order drinks and inquire about seating for food, only to be told we could sit anywhere. We placed our order and enjoyed our drinks while waiting for our meal. However, at 4:30, a young girl from behind the bar placed a reserved sign on our table and informed us it was reserved at 6:30 before walking away. When our food arrived, the server asked if we needed anything else and I mentioned that some manners would be appreciated. Unfortunately, I was told that I was out of line. Have been to the Harrows more than I have changed my socks. Love the atmosphere and how lovely and polite all of the staff always are. It’s a lovely little community pub where I can unwind with a few drinks and eat some great food on the odd occasion we have it. Perfect for the summer months with the tables in the sun. We also enjoy their themed nights. As for the review before me by the LOVELY Nigel… I was sitting near this guy who was the rude one, speaking to a young girl and the manager with such disrespect and swearing in front of children, thus acting like a child themselves titter tattering loudly so others would hear, I just wanted to enjoy my beer.
