beautiful breakfast buffalo for £4.99 (not that I had anywhere near as I had a discount) staff was polite and friendly, helpful good to use the queen. the food is great

definitiw one of the best franchise for fish n chips. especially for one at a service station. highly recommended. preferred option when traveling on m40 and want to stop for food.

fresh friend fish and a big part. we thought it was a break and couldn't resist. we ordered a big one and there was a lot for both of us. visit them safely before they close at 10 o'clock!

one of the best fish and chips I had. when I travel to the south, I distract my distance to stop oxford services so I can have harry ramsden fish and chips. the personal is also very helpful.

Suggestions for improvement include cooking the fish a bit longer for better doneness, replacing the bland Heinz tartar sauce with something more flavorful, and using fresh milk sticks instead of UHT milk. Motorway Service Station food does not have a good reputation, in general. Harry Ramsdens at Oxford services is EXCELLENT. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The batter on the fish was melt in the mouth quality. What a treat sitting by the fountains eating these top quality fisth and chips. Thank you very much.

After renting a car in Heathrow, we drove to Windsor and then to Oxford. We were pleasantly surprised to come across Oxford Services, as we had not been aware of rest stops off the major roadways in the UK. It turned out to be a great place to take a restroom break, with a selection of restaurants to choose from. We ended up trying the fish and chips (with mushy peas, of course) and found it to be very tasty. Overall, a satisfying dining experience.

I stopped at a service station with the intention of grabbing a quick meal. After browsing the options, I came across a meal deal for £7.99, which seemed like a bargain compared to a £4 sandwich. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised when I was served a large, deep-filled pie on a plate. The food was of restaurant quality, despite the lack of restaurant atmosphere.
