"I visited this restaurant twice in a week because my first experience was wonderful. However, my second visit was quite the opposite—it was extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation at our table. I understand that there were many children due to the school holidays, but even the adults were noisy, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and restless. No staff members seemed to address the loud families, and while the employees might have felt familiar with the situation, the manager definitely should have intervened. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning, as I found this experience very disappointing."

I had the skewer with chicken, fries and coleslaw. The chicken was very fatty and the chilli sauce not very flavourful and the coleslaw was bland. Best bit was the fries!

Restaurant was busy, but we had booked. Value for money I walked in and wobbled out. Only managed a main but did have a massive bowl of salad and a roll. No room for dessert!!!!

Kitchen got our steaks mixed up, but easy to swap over. Had an offer of 50% off mains, so indulged in a dessert and waddled out. Still cannot get my head around the staff serve you the salad, as end up with more than you would if done yourself, but can understand why. View menu

The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. However, we felt a bit restricted since we're not big steak eaters, and the mixed grill options had quite a bit of various meats. On the plus side, the prices for the meal and drinks were very reasonable.

The Windsor Lad is a regular meeting place for my friend and I. We always get very good service from friendly smart staff members. The decor is clean and tidy with wooden beams. We usually get a Classic beef burger each which is very tasty and reasonably priced. A very nice afternoon in a very nice establishment.
