Last weekend, I caught up with some friends at Harvey's bar as a meeting point before going elsewhere, and I must say I was highly impressed.

My friend and I parked at the mailbox carpark before heading to the Registry office. Since we arrived early, we decided to grab a coffee at the mailbox cafe. View menu

I absolutely adore this restaurant in the newly renovated Harvey Nichols. It's just unfortunate that it isn't more crowded! The decor is impressive and the food is definitely top-notch.

I booked the afternoon tea through open table in November for Dec confirmed the booking several time before due date. However when we arrived for the tea at Harvey Nichols in Birmingham, we were sent from pillar to post by non English speaking staff, which was exhausting and told all I have booked is a table for two and no tea. Very disappointing as my guest was from Australia and was flying back the next day. Christmas gift and experience or traditional afternoon tea all ruined. Especially so because we had booked hotel to spend the day and night in Birmingham.

I have booked for 5 as a gift for my mother for the day. we arrived a little early, but the restaurant was not busy so we were sitting. who brought us to the table, didn't tell us, just sat down. we waited about 20 minutes for a waitress to ask if we wanted water. we were then asked by 3 separate employees if we had any food requirements. then we waited 10 minutes and another waitress came to take our order without having received any menus. we have ordered that we could have tea, champagne or a cocktail. we waited our drinks lasted another 10 minutes to arrive and came to share in 2 separate. we were then told that our menus were printed that seemed strange that they ordered and sat there f...
