The staff was lovely and the food was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. It was definitely a wonderful experience. I rated the rooms, service, and location a 5. One of the highlights of the hotel was the great value it offered.

Perfect location in the heart of a quaint town. Comfortable accommodations: quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Very nice environment in the restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. We went to this restaurant for lunch and decided to try the philly cheesesteak fries. However, what we received was a claggy and tasteless mess that was unlike anything we had ever seen before. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed. It may be one of the most misleading cases of false advertising we have encountered. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so take a look and judge for yourself.

I made a reservation for an early dinner at a bar on a Thursday afternoon. I had been excited to try the fajitas from the bar menu I had seen earlier, but unfortunately they were not available on the menu we were given. I ended up ordering the battered haddock and chips, and my companion got the house burger. The food was good, although a little expensive. There was a slightly intimidating group at the bar, even though it was only 5:30pm, but overall it was a pleasant experience.

We had dinner at this restaurant on Sunday. The service was professional, provided by a young and well-dressed team who were prompt. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. I ordered the roast lamb of the day, which was incredibly tender and lean. I was tempted to ask the chef about the lamb's origin and cooking method, but felt too shy to do so. My wife's meal was also excellent. The desserts were fantastic; my wife had a perfectly presented banana split which she enjoyed, and my Knickerbocker Glory was splendid.
