"We can't understand the bad reviews. Have celebrated our wedding in the Gründla well 2 weeks ago and are still very happy to have chosen this place! The hostess is an uncanny, hearty, honest and nice person who had always smiled on the lips from the meeting of the celebration to the payment of the bill and who helped us over the whole celebration (despite the biggest Saturday-Abend-Stress . The food was excellent (one of the guests had something to put out!! , the self-breaded beer very sweet : and the young girl in service really very much on zack! We have often been in the Gründla (not only to celebrate and never had negative experiences. We recommend “Der” addresses in Kulmbach and without reservation."

Beautiful old-seated restaurant with partly quite new or newly renovated rooms. Simple but very delicious food. The barbecue chickens are very tasty and well with the best in the whole Kulmbacher room. The prices are also very favourable.

Just across the road from our accommodation at the Landgasthof Schwarzhof. We enjoyed a good meal here, nothing spectacular but obviously enjoyed by many locals. Food was well cooked and presented and the service was friendly and efficient.
