"Once it was received that a potential new member of 100 black men of london, damian george, had a connection in a Roti shop, president elect saw it as his urgent duty to find out whether the Roti shop was worthy of a presidential stamp of the permit. Despite a journey of over 1 hour from me, I have taken over the epic challenge to reach hilltop roti in west ealing. and for the happiness for me it was not only worth the trip, it meant my weekend started with a fantastic Friday! from the minute I went, I was warmly welcomed and felt at home as if I had fallen in the family. although on the menu no double with pholourie were available, it was the perfect starter for me. it was worth waiting as it was cooked, this version with extra spice in the tamarindensoße was really exceptional and full of taste. my ginger squash to wash it was the perfect companion. as I enjoyed the very generous portion size, I was little to know that it would affect my ability to manage my ital roti. while at some places in the life size 'may' not important when it comes to the art form of eating redi, especially after having a generous part of pholourie, size does surely important! especially if they factor in the E-P-I-C size of the redis at hilltop! so my ital roti was introduced and to say that it packed a stamp would be an understatement. callaloo, channa, pumpkin and kartoffeln are the usual ingredients, but president elect asked to garnelen (as she ran out of channa. So my ital became a tailor-made product worthy of every president! I had many a rotten life in my youth, but I can honestly say I had no so full of flavor! through! and with a part of the delightful pfeffer available, I could regulate the heat on my little ones, how and when I wanted! this epic roti was twice the size of the rotis I bought before! when I came through with a smile on my face half, I was fully satisfied and satisfied, but what kind of one eats only half a roti? so with another delicious ginger quash for the support I have attacked the 2nd half of the roti and also some of the delicate full taste of the mutton roti my esszimmerpartner tried out with my peice at the end I decided very hard to accept the so I will probably be forced to prove myself! little mistakes: there were no Soca games when I visited! total summary; hilltop is a place you can sit for 2 hours and enjoy delicious, fresh, full flavour trini eating, excellent value for money, with excellent customer service, (plus, you can also bring your own alcohol! a must visit place, recommended by 100 black men of london president elect!"

had a mutton roti. the place is simple and friendly, with carribean music. the red was fresh and handmade in the house. the one-pot with mutton and potato was perfectly cooked. very tasty. only the output was price £7 that I found for a departure and for the opposite expensive.

My extremely picky partner gave it a perfect 10/10 rating. He had claimed before that he only liked Caribbean food from South London, not West London, but he has changed his mind now. We will definitely be returning again. I hope doubles can be added back to the menu, as they are my favorite dish.

Hilltop has become incredibly popular, with people even ordering dishes a week in advance. Despite the 40-minute wait for my freshly cooked roti, the service was friendly and the complimentary half glass of Trini rum was a nice touch. don't be fooled into thinking this is just another chicken shop opposite West Ealing station these guys know what they are doing. Really good food at a reasonable price with excellent friendly service. The variety of drinks are the perfect accompaniment and the sides of which there is a good selection are great to share with a group of friends. I'm definitely going back next time I'm around that way. Good luck to all the staff and see you there for another roti.

limited seating options that so recommend to call and reserve a table of eating (they mainly takeaways about just eat and deliveroo.) staff and owners were very friendly. we ordered mutton, huh, dhalpoori rotis. everything was well boiled, well seasoned, rotis were filled and not filled with cheap fillers such as potatoes. most importantly it was very tasty, not load in salt and not oily. we have also tried makkaroni cake, which is recommended, plus a cocos drop for dessert. happy to recommend and will come back here. also for small parties they are ready.
