"I stayed in burry port for a short break at the ende mai and the owner in my b recommended us the hope anchor. from outside it was unclear that it is a restaurant with full size and my partner was a little doubtful about eating there. we do not have to have been worried because once in the inner it was obvious that the place was unstoppably clean, spacious (there is more space in the direction back of the building and an inner courtyard area that would be great with warmer weather). the reception we received was very warm and the waiter service was fabulous. the meals were the best we had in a long time, with fresh ingredients, homemade chips and everything seasoned and balanced to perfection. even dings like the salat were made excellent and you could see that the chef really thought about the menu and each ingredient, where in the rule an salat seems to be thrown together, here it was perfectly mixed and felt just as much part of the meal as anything else. we loved eating so much we went back in the following night and plan at our next visit in the opposite return."

My husband and I both had fish dishes, they were both lovely and fresh, as was the side salad. We were able to take our dog here with us(bar area) the chef cooked some sausages for her which was so lovely and thoughtful View menu

four of us called a wet afternoon in the february and simply tried to find somewhere for tee or coffee. we are immediately taken from the pudding selection and treated us. it was beautiful, and the staff was also very friendly.

We have just returned home from a seven nights stay in Burry Port. On our first night we found the Hope Anchor about five minutes walk from the cottage we were renting and enjoyed the food and the excellent service that we went three more times. View menu

excellent fish menu, but steak and burger also available. if they have half as much for double price in a posh london restaurant, they would be more than happy. go they now, they will not be disappointed and if they do not like food they can work their way through their extensive beer menu. Why are you still reading, book now on the table!

my family announced their choices very good value for money and very tasty. I liked the eclectic device more than my eating. I ordered a Welsh Rarbit Off menu that I thought was underused in terms of topping. not enough a relationship to be a hot debate) and brot was not crisp enough. However, I could not mistake the great presentation with the generous part of the varied salat garnish. also the fish specialties on the board that were ready for the evening customers looked well presented. service was very attentive, high chairs are available and there are funny mottos to read hanging plaques while waiting for her to come. to note were three framed professional photos of burry port beach.
