"This restaurant was recommended to us by a local and we visited it twice on our recent trip to Gourdon. Bellevue restaurant is at the end of a row of cafes and restaurants that have terrace seating, near the circular road that circumvents the old medieval area. It does have a lovely and far reaching view too. There is a friendly and pleasant French lady serving, and the food is all the usual local fare including duck and foie gras, but it is a notch above the other restaurants because the food is beautifully cooked and accompanied by delicious sauces. The desserts are amazing if you can possibly find the room for them. We had profiteroles which was in fact one big fat profiterole, filled with ice cream and topped with warm chocolate sauce - believe me it was yummy - not too sweet, choux pastry still crisp and proper chocolate with depth of flavour. If we ever return to Gourdon I will make a bee-line to get to the Bellevue again."

We arrived in L'Hospitalet looking for lunch and were left very pleased to have chosen the Bellevue. My wife and I were welcomed like old friends and the service was excellent. The plat de jour was very tasty as was the 'house red'. Portions were generous and we were kept supplied with fresh bread and water. Excellent value for money for those of us on a budget. What more could you want!?

This lovely old restaurant has a cosy atmosphere with odd items of furniture & crockery around it. We got a lovely table by the window & we decided on the €17.00 set menu. We chose Duck & Salmon, along with the salad, bread, cheese etc it all was so tasty. We had the house "Roc Rose" wine for €9.00 and it was very nice. The staff were very helpful & couldn't do enough to for us. I would love to return there again sometime.

This small place sits on the road but on the other side is the most wonderful view down the valley to the village of Rocadour We came when the balloon festival was on so the whole area was buzzing with people, many of whom had pre booked many of the best tables in most of the village restaurantsGood here was better than we expected . Went for pork with plums. Sounds unusual but similar to pork with apple. Was actually very good.A good place to try as service was great as was the vino!

I expected a tourist trap, but it was one of the better meals we had in Lot. Bellevue restaurant the last of a row of cafes, right across from the viewpoint. Some seats have that view, so you can eat while looking across the valley at Rocamadour. We ordered several plates of food from a very patient waitress, including delicious salads, duck, and a great omelette. Each plate was between €10-15.I would highly recommend this restaurant and cannot say enough good things about the waitress. She was great! Thank you!

We couldn't find a suitable place to eat in Rocamadour so went to L'Hospitalet, overlooking Rocamadour. We went into the Bellevue for dinner. This was a nice restaurant, but the vue was not that belle. Anyhow it was dark. We both had duck terrine for starters, then my wife had duck breast with blackcurrant sauce while I had roast lamb (don't see it much). We had a walnut wine which was delicious. Then for dessert she had pineapple sorbet and I had a nut tart. Then to round off the meal goat cheese. We spoke to a couple of others. The owner was very attentive, but our young waitress was conscientious , but very flustered. Altogether an enjoyable experience .

On arrival we were struggling to find somewhere which had a good priced menu with some sort of selection. We went for the 17 euro menu which had a great choice of food which each course was delicious. The food had lots of flavours and did not disappoint. The staff were very helpful and friendly and could not do enough for you. When struggling slightly with our French they were kind enough to help us out in their excellent English. Alongside what Was a fantastic meal the staff brought us bread and butter to start then a mini starter which was free this was lovely and later on after dessert we were given homemade style biscuits. Safe to say we left feeling very happy and extremely full. Defini...

"We slept at Relais Amadourien. Having been advised and having a choice by several restaurants, we set ourselves on this one for its family cooking side (according to the words of the employee). With all positive reviews, we positioned ourselves. The setting was very pleasant, beautiful restaurant and charming. The staff was very kind, but we found, in a personal capacity, that the prices were much more expensive than normal for the proposal of the dishes... My companion took a menu and he was surprised by his minimal amount. He was hungry when he left. The entrance, a small cappuccino very Good and the dish, not even a whole piece, two small layers of purée. For my part, I stopped by choice. Having seen the menu and the more expensive price of other dishes, I said, there will be more in quantity. That was my surprise. The cocktail I ordered, I was served a background of vodka in a glass and the kit to make the cocktail (and take care of it). It's the first time I see this... Then, my good entrance that was super good and very beautiful, I thought I hope the dish will be more. Because it was pretty light in quantity. And come at the time of the meal, for a trout at 22.90 that was great my disappointment... Three small pieces (too cooked, some light vegetables and five small slices of potatoes... How to tell you, that I stopped there not prefering to take dessert in fear of paying too much for so little quantity. We went out with a note of almost 100 e (98 and a few exactly with half a piece of wine at 20th to get out, hunger again and pay dear for a small amount in the dishes. Very surprised at this restaurant. After that, we know how to do the part of things, that it was a hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, light all this and too expensive if we had to compare other restaurants... For our part, we leave a 3-star rating. That's the average. We let people experience it. But yes, between the recommendations, the opinions read and what we were offered, it's not worth that price there. ordered a glass of wine never arrived (it had not been counted in the addition. Adequate but disappointed meal. Mixed personal experience and when we were asked how it happened, we responded by a way to stay polite and courteous. Review left on the site of the accommodation: 'After if I can afford it and it's not their fault: we were advised by several restaurants and chose one (Bellevue . It was good and it remained suitable. But for the quality price, too expensive of what offered in flat... A cocktail that I ordered and I had to do it myself (versed a background of vodka and with the kit, must be managed: fortunately I knew the recipe ... . We had finished this meal with a very salty note (98 e for two people, my companion had taken the menu fortunately and I had two dishes, an entrance to 12.90 and a dish to 22.90 a half bottle wine to 20e. For the little on the plates, how to tell you, we were hungry when we left the restaurant... Because very little quantity in the dishes for a very high price of the restaurants we were able to make... ' Final opinion: we can't tell you if we recommend it. Make your own advice."
