"I don't think there's a better place than this to eat fish in the lazio. a quality of the raw material excelled, never trivial and also abundant. nothing to envy at starry restaurants. all really applause, if you have ever talked about the crab on the ground, you can not go. you have a sensory experience. you will eat the fish and you have confirmation that in all your life you have never eaten until then. the raw fish their absolute strength, incredible! I repeat my “baptist” which is the best fish restaurant in the Lazio landscape. excellent choice in the courses and infinite quantity and also for the wine card. Thanks you are fantastic."

Outstanding! food and service above the average of the best restaurants. Great place! perhaps more appreciable in winter than in summer. only sins in my opinion, the lack of hot water in the bathroom to wash your hands.

superlative restaurant with high-level cuisine mainly based on fish. managed directly by the owner. I suggest the menu degotation to euro, adapted to the gastronomic route offered. well-stocked cellar. I tasted the souvignon from the mescita, very good. super recommended. View menu

after a specific year, it causes closures for yellow/red area, we returned. no disappointment and we confirm what has already been detected in our previous dinner. for the truth something has changed: small shortcomings for after dinner, from the sweets to the French passito. excellent and professional service at the table of the girl

dined in three friends in this beautiful restaurant where you are pampered by the appetizer to the dessert, eaten fried race on sauteed vegetables fantastic... melted in the mouth, continued with black tonnarelli with shrimp and calamaretti, and squid with fish soup, continued with marvelous black bread cod, and tuna scottato with pachino and olives. continued with fantastic desserts and fantastic home desserts! all in a very elegant frame with an excellent and very cared for service. in front of so much care and beauty, if we have to find a defect, the bathroom was not up to the rest.

"This is one of the 4 restaurants we had a pleasure to dine at during our stay in Terracina (a small seaside town south of Rome . Il Caminetto is a somewhat posh place, which is visible in the service staff being more reserved than one would expect from an Italian place. They 're helpful and polite, yet not openly friendly or outspoken. The restaurant is housed in a nice building near one of main squares of the town and is very nicely decorated. Simple, pleasant coulours, few ornaments, comfortable chairs. The main dining room is big enough to ensure a bit of privacy for the guests. Food is offered from a fixed as well as a daily menu. The restaurant also has a pre-defined meal sets clearly targeted at unaware tourists. I strongly advise to avoid these sets, and select your courses from the daily menu. You get the freshest sea food and fish. And you also earn some respect points with the service staff (always a good thing.... . We had simple starters (mozarella with ham, tomatoes and rocket salad, our favourite Italian classic and fish: sole (cooked whole and filetted afterwards for us and another sea fish, whose name we are unaware. All food was superb! Very well cooked, nicely presented, without any unnecessary extras or side dishes (of course you can have them if you wish . And then there was wine. Il Caminetto is called 'Enoteca ', which stands for a 'wine bar '. And as the name suggests, the choice of wines is very satisfying! Prices are reasonable. Our choices, including wine and a desert, cost us exactly the same as the 'tourist menus ' would. In all, this place is a highly recommendable one. It checks all the important boxes."
