"This was our 4th visit to this restaurant and we found it as pleasant as before. The service is a bit quirky but, fine and you get there in the end. The food is always excellent and the menu is very varied mostly pasta and meat not fish. The wine list is extensive but, no draught beer. They do not rush you so plenty of time to sit and chat. Very good experience with reasonable pricing, we will be back."

the food was good, the place quite cozy. perhaps the negative note was the little professionalism.

We had a delicious dinner here! Nobody spoke English so there was a lot of pointing and me trying to pronounce Italian dishes. We did pretty good!! Only 1 course that we did not order came out!! And the waiter warmed up after a while. Even brought us Limoncello after dinner!! It was a bit of an adventure but it was so good!!!

You can see that was kind of a famous restaurant 10 or more years ago. We like very much Roman food, as we had eat in Rome lots of times. So we gave a chance to this place with good reviews. But it wasn 't as good as we expected. Some dishes were burned or oily, the service was nice but no so professional. Only the Cacio e pepe was good The bill was very cheap.

"Approximation...(to be kind.. 1 Indecent room, furniture, chairs, tables etc. without any logic of furniture Dirty bathroom and without paper and general feeling of little cleaning. Finally...to eat with cats between the tables and above the tables.... is not acceptable 2 Persons, however helpful, evidently to the first weapons....manchevole of the bases.... When you arrive at the table, the catering rule is to bring water and/or drinks immediately, even if you have to wait to order We have been seated more than 10 minutes without anyone asked us if we had ordered or needed water etc and in the end we had to stop a waitress who was rushing!!! 3 Tractor menu, as we expected, but in the disastrous presentation! Blonde Beer ordered.....adrive the weiss and tell us that it is their blonde! Assurd not know the difference and then propose an alternative bottled beer. You can’t write in the menu “tagliere” of meats and cheeses and bring a “lastrina” of stone with half a slice of ham a slice of salami, a slice of lonza and 5gr of cheese... (it was a good aperitif! ... also, I prefer to fly over the quality of the same. At the table it should be “normal” to find the ménage at the table, while we had to ask for oil for bread On the latter we stretch a pitiful veil! In a region that makes oil a strong point of local gastronomy, it is absurd and unacceptable to serve colorless and tasteless oil...really indecent. Parmigiana of aubergines heated badly, almost cold and obviously not made in the house... equal to the fried cheese and the rest of the food. The only sufficiency should be given to the arrosticino that is on average the other places nearby. I forgot.... do not order a decaf....they do not!!!!!!!! Go to the Metro and buy two meats, two cheeses and precooked food to thaw, does not mean catering.... I felt like living the transmission of Cannavacciuolo “Cucine da incubo” ....... Catering so... should not be allowed by law! Experience to forget."

"This is a very expensive restaurant where we experienced very poor, slow service. It is meant to be a place where people enjoy a variety of small dishes, including appetizers, and half-portions of pasta and main dishes for a couple. They serve wine by the glass to accompany the meal. We selected three appetizers we intended to share, and were shocked when we got the bill because we were billed for double portions of the same appetizers (i.e. billed around 50 euro for appetizers when we expected to be billed around 25 euro). Now, the single portions are small enough that double portions were unfortunately necessary, because single portions would have resulted in each of us having inadequately small portions. The portions of wine by the glass were also ridiculously small, the smallest pours we experienced during a three week trip in Italy. The service was incredibly slow because although there were only five people in the restaurant the entire time we ate our meal (which unfortunately lasted about 2 1/2 hours), someone arrived in the restaurant and either ordered a large take-out order, or a meal for a large party arriving very late. The cooks spent most of their time working on the large order, and as a result we waited a long time for all of our dishes. You can eat just as well in Pescara and nearby towns for far less money, so I recommend avoiding this restaurant."
