"a Tuesday of August. 2022 good pizza, the excellent mixture of mussels and sweets. nice place to spend a pleasant family evening to conclude with small minigolf...small, but to appreciate after a good dinner on the spot...the 4 stars because being the only one to have cooked instead of the pizza, I ate alone...now the pizzas if they were devoured. but the boys and girls of the pirates have all the potential to improve coordination. I will definitely return to add the 5 star."

great pizza in a very nice environment. very kind and friendly staff. great idea to make a discount to those who then play minigolf (as we did). Good.

only 3 stars because it is not possible that a local has only one bathroom without the possibility to close the door and wash his hands as the tap knob is missing. good pizza but you can not pay a portion of 5€ chips however not great. very nice minigolf

we played minigolf in the evening of halloween. the owners are very kind and the minigolf field is kept very well. We had a lot of fun. we have seen that there is also the gluten-free restaurant/pizzeria certified aic but it is only open from spring to late summer. we will come back to try it and also make another recommended game!

In Vernazza in Cinque Terre we first dined up at Il Pirata which is a fine value. Tasty bruschetta was generous with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella on 6 sizable toasts. Marinated fresh anchovies were up to our Catalan France standards. Lasagna was fine as was gilthead bream smothered in potatoes. The owner who talks way too much suggested a nice light Rosso di Montalcino to accompany our good dinner. Vanilla ice cream with fresh berries topped a very good meal.

"The food and the hospitality at this little spot are both spot on. You would be a fool to not visit here at least once during your time in the Tuscan seaside town of Viareggio. Unless you plan to make their dinner service right as they open, be sure to make a reservation in advance as the tiny spot fills up very quickly. From the moment we arrived for our dinner reservation the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and as if we were right at home. As soon as we were settled in, our waiter brought us a small welcome dish from the chef that he described to us a typical Tuscan soup. I don 't know what it was called but it was delicious! For our food, we ordered their tordelli with meat ragu sauce after our waiter informed us it 's a typical type of ravioli in that region. You 'll quickly learn as you travel through Italy that each region and often many towns and cities have their own unique ways of creating their pasta dishes that you can only find in that region. The recommendation was a good one because the dish was delicious! For our main, we ordered the Pork Steak Senese which consisted of pre-cut grilled pork with parmesan and balsmamic and grilled trevisano (a type of leafy green). It didn 't look the most appetizing when it was placed in front of us but looks can be deceiving because it was another delicious dish. To wrap up what was already an enjoyable meal, when our waiter brought our bill he also placed a small tray of almond biscuit cookies topped with powdered sugar, a dessert typical of the Tuscan region, as another compliments of the kitchen. Between the tasty food and the small gestures of hospitality, we will definitely be back to dine here if we ever found ourselves in Viareggio again."
