"Il Punto Bonn is probanly the "safest bet" for an impeccable dining experience with perfection in service, choice of dishes, quality and overall ambience.I could not think of any recommendations, as everything on the menue, and everything on special of the day is just great, as is the readiness to "adjust, individualize" your order to your desires. For example, the Carpaccio di Manzo may not be on the menue in the first place. Not only would you get it if you asked for it, you can also get it with chanterelles, kr lentil salad. What I am trying to say is, they let you compose your dream dish an they cook it to perfection, regardless if the menue.Service is as mentioned continuously perfect, wines wonderful and the ambience could'nt be better , indoors or in the wonderful summer patio.Just love this place and its people"

Had a very enjoyable evening here with good food and good service. House red and white wines were light and pleasant. Pheasant filled cannelloni were very good. The restaurant has an upmarket but agreeable atmosphere.

Well worth a visit, in the leafy old town. The maitre d' was a charismatic, warm chap and the atmosphere was excellent. We were on a set menu and my main of steak was very nicely cooked. the highlight was the mixed starter of aniti-pasti. Fresh, well cooked and delicious.

Excellent food, quick service, seems very authentic Italian fare. We were a bit worried when we walked up because it seemed empty, but apparently it was busy with all customers on the back patio (not visible from the street). This place is fancy - we felt a bit underdressed.

Great food, lovely atmosphere and very attentive staff. We walked in without reservation on a weekend night and they seated us without questions asked, even though the place was buzzing. Food was excellent and they happily accommodated special requests. A definite recommendation to visit View menu

An elegant setting with attentive service sets the stage for creative dishes from appetizers to desserts. I enjoyed the pear/parmesan ravioli. Save room for dessert. And for those who want to try everything, order the "Il Punto variations", a sampling of many on the menu. The orange panacotta, pear strudel, and raspberry sorbet were standouts!

Elegant,Classic is all i can say about this place..Great service,Great food, great wine, and i love the fact that they have their own restaurant parking garage with no charges.....I was even allowed to leave my car over night as we decided to enjoy our wines and not drive:-)...I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice classic dinner night with frieends or as a couple...Will surely go back..

Myself and partner went here for our last meal visiting Bonn. The service we received was absolutely exceptional, very friendly and welcoming, and even when we had left some of our starter and main course (because we were full - not because it wasn't lovely) one of the workers (seemed like the big boss) came out and checked everything was ok with the food and that we liked it. They couldn't do enough for us to ensure we were as satisfied as we could be. Would highly recommend and will definitely be bringing my family here when I move here in September. View menu

On the recommendation of a local colleague, I dined here with a group of six and had a very enjoyable evening. It's a casually elegant space, just outside of the main downtown area of Bonn and close to the university. The food was very good- authentic, great flavors and artful presentation. The proprietor welcomed us warmly and took very good care of us throughout the meal- helping to translate the menu for those of us with limited German or Italian and making good recommendations for wine and desserts. He even brought us a complementary taste of limoncello at the end of the meal.

I went here on my business trip as I had been here before few years ago. Unfortunately I felt a bit undressed as I was wearing jeans and should have may be worn something else... Couldn't remember this at all from my previous visit. So, kindly pay attention to your outfit. However, my outfit didn'tt matter as the staff was very friendly anyway.A big plus goes to the glutein free pasta as this is not automatic in all restaurants in Germany. Food was ok but as good as I remembered. (I think I even might have had the same dish last time.) It's although possible I made a wrong choice as well :)But, if you're looking for a good and nice Italian restaurant in the city center of Bonn (only few hund...

Bonn is a charming city on the Rhine, known for Beethoven's birthplace. Typical dishes include Sauerbraten, Rhenish mussels, and Himmel un Ääd, a mix of mashed potatoes and apples.
