Absolutely amazing. Great food, lovely staff and reasonably priced. Only wrinkle was we asked for the children's meal to be served with the starters and it wasn't, kids got a little grumpy. I would definitely go back though.

visited 10. March to lunch and could not be happier with the service, eating as always was excellent, plentiful and favorable. the only part was that I wish I had a small pot of Jus source on the side, maybe because it was just so beautiful, I had hit it all up:

Had a lovely meal as always, decided to take my extended family this time. I am really not a fan of the service charge automatically being added to the bill. I like to decide how much I tip. The lady manager obviously works very hard, always busy, always doing something but is quite abrupt and I actually almost said let's go somewhere else tonight. However the food was a good as always.

a couple of years ago it was one of my favorite places, but for a long time the vegan and vegetarian eating here is really bad quality. eating is quite expensive and dinge like vegan speck, roasted to the point is crispy and uneatable or undercooked egg should not happen. for Italian place is coffee also quite bad. during the last visit I had not much luck with friendly staff. prices are too high and do not correspond to the quality of food. updated by previous review on 2022-03-31

Bad. visited il rosso on 14.09.2009 and was very badly informed with the food and service the description of the starter was completely out. we had flat papill mushrooms with melted dolcelatta, there was no melted dolcelatta or even any taste of Dolcelatta...if they asked where they said it was mixed with the broth crumbs and then stop ignoring us and simply take away our teller without asking how it was next the mains, where delivered without the wrong ones on the table and on the table. we were only crossed when we wanted balsamic dressing and no other seasoned. I always liked to eat here. but now as a vegan I don't like eating at all and only go when I'm invited by friends or family. I now have all the vegan items on the menu and the only thing I really like is the breakfast (although the last time I had that the speck was rock hard.) it is so annoying because all the other foods look delicious. it was a Saturday night and the place was a good sign that was eating came quite fast, but the waitress was hopefully new, as she really did not know what she did. the food came out, but most were cold, the portions were stingy. we went yesterday (23rd aug) for our 40th anniversary. I have booked online and told them it was a special occasion. at the arrival no one was behind the bar, but the dame stood at the restaurant entrance came directly past to serve us. we had our drinks and then went to dinner. when we gave our names, we were immediately recognized and the male server said hsppy jubiläum, which I thought was a nice note. eating was amazing. my scallops were great. yes, there was a waiting period between the curses, but they have to cook it! we had both steak medium rarely. excellent lunch and beautiful venue. this was the first time I visited mansfield and was recommended to visit il russo. the staff was very helpful as it was our first adventure after covid and we were not sure of the current requirements. when it was a nice warm summer day, we decided to sit on the terrace. it was beautifully designed with tables of all sizes. I recommend the reservation in advance, as it was also very busy for a Monday lunch time. I was disappointed that the pots of the plants were plastic, as the natural fragrance would have added to the ambiente.
