"We returned whilst in the area having not been for at least 10 years when we remember it being the best Indian in the surrounding area (nearby villages incl. Cambridge). That judgment still stands and the Indian Ocean is as fantastic as it previously was. Naturally, there’s an updated menu with all the standard curries but there’s a range of house specialities. I had the Goan Green curry which was superb. The chicken dhansak was good also, although a bit light on the lentils. Service was good and the prices reasonable. It was nice to see all of the tables taken on a Saturday evening, which I don’t recall being the case 10 years ago so I’d recommend booking on popular evenings. Would definitely return when next in and around Cambridge and fancying an Indian."

I am crazy for Indian food. I was hardly able move after our dinner. Wish I could eat here every night. Very scrumptious, amazing food.

Refurbished since my last visit pre-Covid. No longer looking old and pokey. Looks more spacious and brighter than before. Ordered the lamb Jalfrezi which was very tasty....and fiery!! The lamb was meltingly tender. Only one drawback though on the evening....they no longer have chapatis!! .Please bring back chapatis?!?!

Great food. Lovely staff. I ordered a lamb Rogan Josh and was offered a slow cooked lamb shank at a couple of quid more....fantastic. The evening was almost ruined by the professional complainers, why do these prats go out, on the next table. We asked to be moved to another table away from Mr and Mrs I'm so important and we were. The puddings are really good.
