"Awful food. Overpriced also for what it is Went here maybe a year ago and was awful chips were brown and looked like they’d been make with sprouting potatoes, didn’t go again for a year. Went again april 2023 and thought it may be different or maybe a one off. Nope. Awful again Brown manky chips that looked and tasted like they were from lunchtime, and made from old sprouting potatoes, and best of all payed £6 for large chips and curry sauce. Absolute rip off. Walk a little further and go to rectory road chippy as their chips are always amazing. Only positive is we were in and out in 1 minute because there was nobody else in there (wonder why!!"

the best steak nierenkuchen n chips I had for years. really delicious just sad that I couldn't finish all the chips. the personal was friendly. the next time I'm in redditch, I'll definitely ask for more.

DEFINITELY WOULD GO THERE AGAIN! The chips not too greasy, nor to salty/vinegary, i found a bone in the large cod i had, but that’s not a problem with the shop itself, curry sauce was perfect and so was the chips and the fish, not too long to get to us Thank You!!! View menu

brilliant. the best chips in the city! I had a good part of chips with a big fish. batter on fish had a nice crunch, but not over boiled. chips also tasted super. the prices are good and I would definitely recommend this chip shop. also noted that they sell fresh raw in contrast to most chippy ,s in the opposite. I have eaten at all chip shops in redditch and inn plaice is the best!

Went here tonight to treat me and my Husband for a chip and fish supper, we were disgusted at the Fish, it had been refried two maybe three times the ‘batter?’ was very dark, greasy and couldn’t be cut with a knife. The chips or should I say scratchings were so hard and very overcooked, most of our treat went in the bin, their prices are much too high for something that you can’t eat. That’s one chip shop I won’t be going to ever
