Shame on me, but I live a few hundred yards and the first visit was last night. Gorgeous food, great staff, and as I work for the NHS......a great discount as well (remember to take your NHS ID though). This is now my #1 Indian takeaway.......without a doubt.

Booked a table for four , nice and clean , staff great and the food was excellent and well priced as well. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring your own. First time we had been there and I think we will definitely be back . Loads of out our friends go there , I can see why now .

Wow, I 'm sold on this place. Ended up sitting in and being very impressed! Rates up there as one of the best Indian meals I 've had. The samosas! Will be back for those as they fall into the that was so good I 'm going to get cravings for them! And such lovely service from the guy dealing with the takeaway and serving those sitting in. Hands down the best Indian in North Shields. The chef specials and specialities are the ones to look at. As someone who likes spicy food, you may want to ask for some dishes to be made hotter than usual as even something offered as hot, is pretty mild for me. gems are Katmandu, Sagwala, North and Green Bengal, and north and South Chilli Garlic.

Ordered takeaway and it came quickly, only waited 45 mins which I thought was good. However the food wasn’t great. Some of the lamb was a bit chewy and didn’t enjoy my meal. Rice was quite dry as were the chips. Rest of family ordered Prawn Bhuna, Chicken masala and Jalfrezi, they were all ok but all agreed a bit disappointing. Poppadoms were a bit soft but the pickles were very good as was the Keema naan.

The restaurant is small but has a friendly staff. They have an extensive menu and are unlicensed, so you can bring your own alcohol without a corkage charge. They are happy to box up your meal for takeaway if you can't finish it. The restaurant also offers a takeaway service for both pick-up and delivery. Just wanted to say I hardly ever write reviews. We moved from the NW a couple of weeks ago and have been trying the local delivery places. This is amazing and we will never go to anywhere else but here for a curry in the future. Excellent quality chicken and prawns. No added colourants to make things pink. Tasty sauces etc. There isn't anything we could fault on this place and my husband is extremely fussy when it comes to takeaway. It was a Saturday night and delivery was within the minute of when it was supposed to arrive. Portions are so generous that we'll be having it for tea tomorrow as well. Well done you have gained yourself loyal customers.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and picked it up. When I got home, I realized part of my order was missing and the garlic naan bread was not included. I called the restaurant and received a rude response, initially promising a refund but later changing their mind and offering to deliver the missing items. However, the food never arrived. When I followed up the next day, the restaurant claimed the missing items had been delivered, but my husband spoke to the delivery driver who said otherwise. Despite asking for a refund multiple times, the restaurant refused, displaying a lack of customer service. I regret not reading reviews before placing my order.

The restaurant provided rude and incomplete service, and when I asked for a refund for a missing meal, the customer service was offensive. I was promised a refund of £5.10 in a few hours, but it has not been processed. When I called to inquire about the missing meal or refund, they claimed they had delivered it to my address, which was not true. We asked them to identify the cars at our property and the equipment they passed to reach my front door, but they could not. It was clear they were lying.
